Waxing without consistency AND proper aftercare will never give you those results you’re looking for. 👏🏼👏🏼

Mmhmm..you read that right. But WHY??

📆 Only getting waxed once every couple of months and shaving in between waxes keeps your growth cycle allll out of whack. Meaning your hair will always grow at different times and will ALWAYS have growth within the first week.

✨Not exfoliating 2-3 times per week. If you’re not exfoliating between waxes, your skin will create a barrier of dead skin cells and natural oils that will cause your hair to grow right back into the skin…causing (you guessed it)..more ingrown hairs. A vicious cycle.

💧Not keeping the skin moisturized after exfoliation. You’ll want to stick to a dry oil for a gentle hydration that doesn’t clog the pores instead of a heavy body lotion. Remember - hydrated skin is healthy skin and healthy skin provides a less painful experience in the wax room!

👯‍♀️Not listening to your estie on what NOT to do after your wax. Exercising, swimming, tanning (real or fake) and touching are all big N-O’s for the first 24-48 hours after to keep that fresh wax free of bacteria 🦠

Don’t be afraid to ask your esthetician questions and for advice on the aftercare products they recommend. Trust me. We know your skin better than the ads on tik tok 😏
