Yesterday we officially passed our State Board inspection and got the green light to start booking clients at The Vale! 🤍

I have been working nonstop since yesterday afternoon reaching out to everyone on the waitlist. Please bear with me as I continue making my way down the list. I hope to have everyone scheduled soon, and I am SO excited to see each and every one of you!

And of course, I had to share this photo of my girl gang because they are the best. Every single one of them has helped Mama at the new spa in some way, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their love and support. 🫶

The countdown is over. It’s finally time. ✨

State Board came this morning and I PASSED my inspection! 🎉

That means Skin Everlasting by Michelle will officially begin taking clients beginning Monday, June 22nd!!!

These last few months have been such a roller coaster of emotions, and I want to thank all of my clients for their love, patience, and encouragement along the way. I have a very long waitlist, but I’ll begin reaching out today to start getting everyone scheduled. I am SO stinking excited to see you all again!

I could not have done this without so many people. There are way too many to name because I know I’d leave someone out, but my daddy is the real MVP. The countless hours he spent painting, putting together desks and chairs, meeting plumbers, and making endless trips to Lowe’s… I could never thank him enough.

I cannot wait to start sharing before-and-after photos and showing everyone what we’ve been working on. This place has been a labor of love, and I know without a doubt that God led me here to this exact moment. He has amazing plans for me, and I’m so thankful I listened when He called me out of my comfort zone.

Don’t ever ignore the Lord when He is speaking to you. If you feel like He is nudging you, He probably is. And if you continue to ignore His nudge… He may end up giving you a forceful shove. 😆

Thank you all for believing in me. The next chapter starts now, and I can’t wait to welcome you to Skin Everlasting by Michelle. 🤍

One sign at a time, the vision is becoming reality.

Today, A&B Sign Co. put up the signs for The Vale, and seeing the name on the building for the very first time was one of those moments I’ll never forget.

There is still work to do, but today feels like a big step forward.

I cannot wait to open these doors and welcome you all in.

We’re getting closer.

Tomorrow, the sign goes up.

For months, many of you have followed along as we’ve painted walls, moved furniture, made design decisions, and transformed this building into something special. Now it’s finally time to share the heart behind the name.

A vale is a valley—a place nestled between mountains.

When I was searching for a name, I couldn’t stop thinking about the significance of valleys throughout Scripture. While we often celebrate the mountaintops in life, some of our greatest growth happens in the valleys. Valleys are where God meets us, strengthens us, teaches us, and restores us.

One verse that has always spoken to me is Psalm 23:4:

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.”

The valley isn’t a place where we’re abandoned—it’s often where we experience God’s presence most deeply.

My prayer for The Vale is that it would be more than just a building. More than a place for facials, head spas, esthetics, and massage therapy.

I hope it becomes a place where people can pause from the busyness of life, find rest, feel cared for, and leave feeling refreshed—both inside and out.

The Vale was born from a season of faith, growth, and trusting God through change. Choosing this name was a reminder that valleys are not places where our story ends. They are often where healing begins.

While we are not quite open for business yet, tomorrow’s sign installation is a huge milestone and one step closer to opening our doors. Watching this vision come to life has been incredibly humbling, and I cannot wait to share more with you in the weeks ahead.

But truly… this season has stretched me in ways I never expected.

This journey to my new space has been filled with SO many emotions—stress, excitement, fear, gratitude, exhaustion, joy… all of it.

There have been moments I’ve cried because things felt heavy… and moments I’ve cried because I couldn’t believe this is actually happening. 🥹

So many people have stepped in to help make this dream a reality, and I am so unbelievably grateful.

My family. My friends. My village. My incredible clients.

And most importantly, the Lord—because I know He has guided every single step, even when I couldn’t see the full picture.

This dream is being built with prayer, love, and a whole lot of teamwork. 🤍

I seriously cannot wait to show you what’s coming.
