A message from Elizabeth ❤️

With 37 years in the beauty industry, and after nearly 20 years of owning my salon and spa, I find myself reflecting on the incredible people who have made this journey so meaningful.

To the team members who have worked beside me through the years; every stylist, massage therapist, nail tech, esthetician and receptionist.. and especially to the amazing professionals who continue to serve our guests today.. THANK YOU 💛 Your talent, dedication, compassion, and commitment to our clients have helped shape the culture and reputation of this business. You are the heart of Blades! I am so proud of what we have built together, and I am deeply grateful for the role each of you has played in this journey. The success of Blades has never been about just one person.. it has always been about a team of people who genuinely care for one another and for those we serve!

As I prayed about what this next season would look like, it became clear that God was already preparing the way. One of the greatest blessings has been watching someone I deeply love and trust grow into the leader she is today.

That is why I am so grateful to share that Sarah will be taking ownership of Blades Salon & Day Spa.

This decision has not come easily. Blades has been more than a business to me.. it has been part of my story, part of my family, and part of God’s plan for my life.

Over the last five years, we have built this salon and spa into something I could have only dreamed of. The growth, the friendships, the memories, and the relationships we’ve created together have been nothing short of a blessing.

But I didn’t do it alone.

For years, Sarah has stood beside me through every challenge, every victory, every long day, and every dream. She has been my right hand, my trusted friend, and one of the greatest blessings God has placed in my life. There were moments when this journey wasn’t easy, yet she remained steadfast, committed, and dedicated to the people and culture that make Blades so special.

Very few people have loved this business the way I have, and I can say with complete confidence that Sarah is one of them. There is no one I trust more to carry Blades forward. I know she will continue to grow this business, care for our incredible team, and serve our community with the same heart and passion that have always defined us.

Some people become coworkers, some become business partners, but a very rare few become family. Sarah is family to me, and that makes this transition not only possible, but joyful 👏🏼

While ownership is changing, I’m not leaving the salon. My schedule will be a little more condensed but you’ll still find me behind the chair, doing what I love 🥰 I’m simply making more room for another role that has captured my heart.. being “EB” to my precious grandchildren 💞

Looking back, I can see how God planted seeds in every valley I walked through. Today, those seeds have grown into something beautiful. And just as He has faithfully carried me through every chapter before, I know He will continue to guide these next steps.

Ecclesiastes tells us that there is a season for everything, and I believe with all my heart that this is my season. This industry has been so good to me. It helped raise my children, provide for my family, and gave me the privilege of walking alongside so many amazing people through the years. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your lives.

Thank you for your love, support, and trust throughout this journey. The future of Blades is bright, and I couldn’t be more excited to see what God has in store for Sarah, our team, and all of you ✨
