I’m still riding high from the Premier Beauty Show Orlando! As the owner of Copperhead Salon at Salon Lofts Maitland and a National Educator for Short2Long Extensions, it was an incredible weekend. I taught a hands-on certification class in Beaded and Butterfly Weft Extensions on Saturday, had a packed V-Light look-and-learn on Sunday, and was honored to join the talented Laurrin and George on stage through Short2Long’s partnership with CHI and Farouk Systems. I got to share my passion for extensions and work a little extension magic on their models.

As I walked the show floor, I kept running into friends and fellow artists. Then it hit me—so many of the people making waves in our industry are people I’ve worked alongside right here at Salon Lofts.

Seeing so many talented friends thriving in their careers made me realize just how grateful I am to be surrounded by such an amazing community every day. Salon Lofts isn’t just a place to work—it’s a place where entrepreneurs, educators, artists, and dreamers are given the freedom to grow into whatever they want to become.

Who knows what’s next for any of us? One thing I do know is that when you’re surrounded by this much talent and supported by a company that believes in independence and opportunity, the possibilities are endless.

So much fun at Premier Orlando!!! 🎉✨

What an incredible weekend filled with hair, extensions, education, connections, and so many great memories.

I had the opportunity to share the CHI stage again with the amazingly talented Laurrin and George, showcasing extension techniques and a little weave magic on Laurrin’s beautiful model, Alex. I also got to catch up with my friend and former client Sara Zeng, Miss Florida 2017, while she was modeling for CHI. Seeing her brought back so many pageant memories… though I still wish I could have talked her into some peachy-pink pop star hair back in those days! 😆

The rest of the day was nonstop on the show floor. I truly did a little bit of everything—Butterfly Wefts, Microwefts, Hybrid Wefts, V-Lights, Micropoints, and even some tinsel! It was one of those wonderfully chaotic hair show days where you look up and realize you’ve been creating hair magic for hours.

To top it all off, Anna Cantu stopped by the booth and did a little shopping with Short2Long Extensions for herself. I mean, who wouldn’t want to pick up the best hair on the planet when you’re a global ambassador for CHI? 💁‍♀️✨

I’m incredibly grateful to work alongside my extension family and friends Shannon, Nadia, Lupe, Angela, and Danielle. And a huge thank you to my Short2Long family—Maria, Natalie, Chelsea, and Jess—for always believing in me and making me feel at home.

Most importantly, this show was extra special because I got to share it with my beautiful wife, Jennifer. Thank you for supporting me, modeling for me, and somehow always being the prettiest person on stage. ❤️

What a crazy day at Premier Orlando, but somehow I “muscled” through! 💪✨

We kicked off the morning with a packed house for my V-Light demo, then it was straight into installs all day long! Butterfly Wefts, Invisible Bead installs, and plenty of extension transformations kept me moving from start to finish.

Then it was off to the CHI stage where I had the opportunity to showcase my extension work and share the stage with the incredibly talented Laurrin and George. I added 24” of length with a custom-blended Microweft installation using colors 3/27 and 2 for a seamless brunette blend with pops of dimension and highlights.

Next up, my gorgeous friend and nail tech Etheria joined me on stage to show off her stunning 24” custom balayage hybrid install. We combined Invisible Bead Microwefts with Micro K-Tips to create the perfect rooted platinum blend with multidimensional highlighted tones. The result was absolutely gorgeous! 🤩

After the stage presentations, it was right back to more Butterfly Weft installs before I finally got a chance to spend some time with my beautiful wife Jennifer. ❤️ She came out to support me, do a little shopping, and help replenish and nourish our Short2Long team. That’s just who she is—always taking care of everyone around her.

I’m exhausted, grateful, and having the time of my life. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by, attended a class, watched a demo, or trusted me with their hair today. Day 2 is in the books, and I can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!

Amazing class for Day 1 at Premier Beauty Show Orlando! 🎉

Today we shared Bead Method Mastery: Butterfly Weft, I-Tip, and Micropoint Extensions with an incredible group of stylists eager to take their extension skills to the next level. As a National Educator for Short2Long Hair Extensions, it's always rewarding to watch students gain confidence and master techniques that can truly transform their careers.

These talented professionals are leaving with the knowledge and hands-on experience to offer three damage-free extension methods that require no heat, no glue, and no tape—just beautiful results and healthy hair.

A huge thank you to Shannon and Angela for assisting throughout the class, and a big 🫶 to the amazing Short2Long team—Maria, Chelsea, and Jess—for all of their support. And of course, the biggest shoutout goes to my beautiful model and wife, Jennifer. Your patience, support, and willingness to sit in my chair time and time again never go unnoticed.

I couldn't have done it without all of you, and I'm feeling incredibly grateful tonight.
