Which lash extensions last the longest?

The answer is actually quite simple, the ones that are applied correctly by the artist and maintained properly by the client. I often get new clients that come in for a fill after their previous artist “didn’t do a good job and the lashes fell out super fast”. Now don’t get me wrong, that may very well be the case, but what I will focus on with you in my studio is what you did to protect your investment and how you took care of them after they were applied.

How long your lashes last consists of two parts 50% artist application and 50% your aftercare, they go hand in hand and without proper care, even the lash extensions applied by a master artist will not last.

With every full set, you will receive a cleanser that’s formulated specifically for lash extensions along with a cleansing brush for great retention. I recommend cleansing them at least once a day (at night) to wash the day away, for even better retention, try cleansing morning and night.

Late to your resolutions? Girl, me too!

We are officially one week into 2022 and I have yet to start on my resolutions. I can’t be the only one. I’ve never really believed in starting a whole new lifestyle on January 1st 🤦🏼‍♀️ the pressure, am I right?

On the first I woke up in Tennessee, strolled the streets of Gatlinburg, rode a mountain coaster (TWICE!), went to a phenomenal speak-easy in Knoxville and rented scooters with my boyfriend to explore the town and had a blast!

Should I have made it to the gym and started the year “right”? Maybe. Should I have started with healthier food choices? Perhaps.

But did I? No.
And am I going to beat myself up over it? Also no.

That’s like listening to Dave Ramsey that says that what’s keeping you poor is a cup of coffee at Starbucks every morning. The truth is, the only thing that’s keeping you poor or unhappy is your mind. Your mind attracts more of what you think about so if you beat yourself up for every little thing instead of enjoying it, you’ll never climb out of the hole.

So this year, let’s focus on getting the mind right. Do more of what makes you happy, love yourself, sleep in if that’s what your body needs, get moving if your body allows, get that cup of coffee if you’ll truly enjoy every sip and be grateful for it, focus on the good and more of it will come.

There’s no “new year, new me” over here, there’s just new year,
a more grateful me, a more confident me, a more kind me, a better me.

The best thing about lash extensions is that at every fill you can do more or less based on what’s happening that week for you. Have a vacation or photoshoot coming up for Christmas? Choose volume. I’m Valeria, owner & founder of Allure by Val. I’ve been lashing since 2018 and recently opened my very own studio to service you out of in Maitland, FL. I’m a mentor to many in the Central Florida area and have taught hundreds of men and women to offer the services I specialize in.

• I’m a boy mom to a very energetic and fun 7 year old
• I studied and worked finance for over a decade
• I love being outdoors (preferably in the sun) and exploring new places. Recently did some hiking in Utah and Arizona.
