Sometimes the smallest things turn into the biggest parts of your love story 💛. Here’s what Julia had to say about why they chose their fun outfits for the shoot. Love these two!! Almost 1 month until your big day!

“Ducks have always been his thing—so much so that they made their way into his tattoos. Funny enough, I had already started collecting them before we ever met. I guess you could say the universe was dropping little hints long before we knew what they meant.

Then one night, early on in our relationship, we were out together and I stopped to admire the ducks on someone’s Jeep. To me, it was just a cute moment… but to him, that was it. That was the moment he knew I was the one.

Since then, collecting ducks has become our thing—our little symbol, our inside joke, and now a piece of our story we carry everywhere (including this session 🥹).”

Tonight’s weather was a total dream. Perfect little breeze, comfortable temps, and a dreamy golden sunset. Luke was in my kiddo’s kindergarten class!! It’s pretty wild to see him all grown and ready to leave the nest! He’s playing baseball for Christopher Newport University this fall. I know he’s going on to do big things!

Such a fun session with Luke this evening. I’ve known him since he was in my kiddo’s class in kindergarten! ⚾️

I’ve known Marie since she was 8 years old! It’s crazy to see her all grown up and ready to graduate high school. It was such a fun evening doing her session. 🩵💙

I had to literally force myself to stop editing these because I’m just so in love with how these turned out!! From the golden sun to the beautiful horse to the stunning model.. It’s all so dreamy! ✨

Gahhhh the cuteness of Miss Nora last night for her 1st birthday cake smash!!!! The sun and the vibe was just right.. And she definitely got that sugar high! Thanks for all of my helpers including my kiddo, Charlie! I love how these turned out. ❤️

It was such a pleasure to do this session for my good friend Lisa + her beautiful family this evening. ☺️ Our original plan was to do this last weekend but we wanted to hold off for better weather and it was totally worth the wait! The sunset and temperature were perfection. Our little walk through the park was very enjoyable. It was sweet to watch these 4 connect during this shoot. It wasn’t hard to see how much they love each other and what a great bond they have. I’m looking forward to working on their images over the next few weeks. :) Here are a few sneaks..

It seems so strange that I’ve know Erin since she was a little girl and now she’s all grown up and a senior in high school! This young lady is full of smiles and has a huge heart for her school. And she NAILED her photo shoot today! We started with hair and makeup in my salon and made our way to the park. The weather couldn’t have been better (almost 80 degrees!) so we went on a 2 mile “hike” and took advantage of all the beauty of the trail. I don’t normally post this many sneaks but I couldn’t stop editing! ☺️☺️

I had the absolute pleasure of taking photos for this beautiful family this evening. 🥰 I’ve known the Berk’s for many years and love watching the adventures they take and all the fun stuff they do to stay (very) busy. In honor of their oldest son, Andrew, who’s graduating next spring, we did a family shoot with some solos of the kids. Here are a few creative sneak peeks!
