You will never know how far you can go unless you begin the journey….
The goal was the stage and check a box but it became understanding of self, reigniting of competition, knowledge gained and a lasting relationship but this is what gave me. The one thing I enjoy about coaching, is competitors not knowing how much they impact me. We sat down and came up with the plan and he executed beyond belief. Yes we could have been many things but the things that we did do is complete the task!!! Proud of the man and what he does for his athletes!!!

Sometimes as an athlete we tend to get so caught up in “the process” we forget to lift your head and see the accomplishments up that point you are at. We think that we will get complacent or take our foot off the gas but sometimes seeing your results can make you lock in even more. Challenging yourself more and creating a hyper hyper focus. But never forget the wins along the journey, take a look back when you started and where you are at currently. It’s okay to see your results during the process but it’s not okay to be complacent!!

So proud of this woman!! . The transformation from her first show last year to this has been a ride. Increased her muscle in areas she needs to, created more shape as the judges said and not we are just bringing in home until stage day. When desire meets hard work anything and everything is possible!!
And she is a testament of that!!!

The hoodie….
The place where you can go unseen…
The place where you can hide from the world but yet move throughout it invisibly in your mind…
The place where the enclosure closes out the noise from the outside and provides a space of peace…
The place where you hide the pain in your eyes or block of the storm from the chaos…
The place where you can sob and nobody sees..
The place where sweat can mix with tears and it becomes all the same… a product of hurt…
The place where you control the temperatures of the social engagement… pull it back, I invite you in…
Pull it lower… keep your social distance…
The place where the hug of the fabric gives comfort more than a person could..
A false protection but a real promise created…
The place where the tears will never be seen and evidence hidden,
It stiffened a the sounds sobs…
The place of hoodie…
A cove or cave to hideaway….

Sometimes it’s not the result of journey that is the most pleasurable but it’s what is learned about yourself is the most profitable….

Re igniting the passion for something and enjoying the process of changing is full filling that outcome sometimes. Evolving into something greater is the true win for any competitor.

PROUD OF YOU for all that you overcame that no one needs to know and never will but you know what you did….

Excuse are only real if you believe them to be! But if the goal is to become the version of self you believe you can obtain, then the excuse is nothing more than a fleeting thought without a foundation to sit on. You can accomplish anything if you BELIEVE YOU CAN DO IT!

… Did the damn thing!!! Followed the plan, and the plan lead him to this. See, too many people hire a coach but do not want to trust the coach to coach them from a place they current reside but want to control the situation in which they “know what to do”!. Then why hire a coach?
Everybody knows what to do but don’t do it but hire a coach to have an out of the goal isn’t attained!!
When the decision is made to trust the process and do the work these are the results…
The true win isn’t the medal…
It’s the journey the knowledge gained discipline discovered and understanding there are no limits to what you can accomplish….
