We did violet halo highlights that are strategically placed around the face frame and throughout hairline underneath for a beautiful full pop of color.

We did a partial highlight and color over the highlights instead of the usual toner/gloss for longer lasting results.

The matching lashes make it that much better!

Before and after transformation from simple highlights to full ombre.

And if you’re asking yourself right now what an ombre is…. Ombre is a style of hair that blends from dark roots to light ends😉

Not to confuse with balayage which is a technique used to paint subtle highlights.

Blonde transformation 🪄

Waves of high contrast blonde melted down from her natural dark hair.

THE BLEND IS BLENDING.

Also can we just take in the length and density of her hair, no extensions here. A girl can dream on having this naturally like she does! 😍

My blonde client wanted to change it up! YAY!

So we had a discussion about how permanent this change was going to be and we decided we still want to be blonde this spring/summer so we opted for semi permanent.

I’m drrrrrooooling over this shade it’s so pretty with the lived in look! Had so much fun with this!

In her copper era ❤️‍🔥

We initially started with a deeper red color to blend with her previous Demi color and to avoid using bleach but the goal was always a copper color.

This time we did a bleach wash to lift some of the previous Demi color and I’m so glad we did! She is the perfect copper tone!

Along with some fun layers and curtain bangs to finish of this fiery look.

Who said you can’t have a dark base with blonde highlights?

Toning maintenance is the key to this look.

When you commit to blonding be prepared to commit to toning/gloss appointments every 6-8weeks.

Balayage highlights have been mistakingly given the hype that there is NO maintenance for 6 months and although that is true for regrowth, it is not the same for toning.

You can use purple shampoo but this only cancels out warmth and overtime if used too much can cause the hair to look dull and really ashy. If that’s your desired tone then great but it’s not everyone!

When we gloss we maintain vibrancy while cancelling out any unwanted pigments.
