Today was The Hidden Chair Barber co.’s very first community event — Free Haircuts for Senior Citizens at the Manteca Senior Center!
Thank you to Manteca Recreation & Community Services for partnering with us and helping make this possible.
We gave 25 free haircuts, met amazing individuals, had great conversations and connected with several veterans who generously shared their stories. Seeing the smiles, hearing the stories, and being able to give back in a small but meaningful way reminded us how important community connection really is.
We learned a lot from this first experience, and we’re excited to continue creating opportunities to serve and uplift our community.
