Patience visited me
And it reminded me
That good things take time to come to fruition
And grow slowly with stability

Peace visited me
And it reminded me
That I may remain calm through the storms of life
Regardless of the chaos surrounding me

Hope visited me
And it reminded me
That better times lay ahead
And it would always be there to guide and uplift me

Humility visited me
And it reminded me
That I may achieve it
Not by trying to shrink myself and make myself less
But by focusing on serving the world and uplifting those around me

Kindness visited me
And it reminded me
To be more gentle, forgiving and compassionate toward myself
And those surrounding me

Confidence visited me
And it reminded me
To not conceal or suppress my gifts and talents
In order to make others feel more comfortable
But to embrace what makes me me

Focus visited me
And it reminded me
That other people’s insecurities and judgements about me
Are not my problem
And I should redirect my attention
From others back to me

Freedom visited me
And it reminded me
That no one has control over my mindset, thoughts and wellbeing
But me

And love visited me
And it reminded me
That I need not search for it in others
As it lies within me.

Calling people forth, comes from a place of service + an open heart 💛

The intent is to call the person to higher ground. The tone is always collaborative.

Calling forth is a mindset. It starts with intention. Mine has always been service.

We all know how difficult the past year has been. It forced many businesses to shut their doors. It also gave courage to many new ones to emerge.

I believe wholeheartedly in community. It’s why when my I first had the vision for V + Co. in 2012, I couldn’t have imagined where life + business would take me. To the way Lynette Barbieri I met. To our launch of Entrepreneurial Think Tank for Women + 9 years later rely heavily on our community to stay the course. We call each other forth, we also do so with our community.

I almost folded on this space who has been not just my business haven, but the launch pad for so many women who have come through these doors.

Today, on this beautiful Sunday I am happy to report that within a span of 7 days, we are back at full capacity.

Grateful for an incredible landlord (and Mark Viggiani, SRS, ABR, Realtor) who believed in what was being birthed here from day 1.

We’re here. We’re open for business. We’re stronger than ever.
