Dear Salon in the Mills Family and Friends,
It is difficult to find the words to express the sadness and pain we are all feeling right now. We are all deeply motivated to help change and help heal our country in any way we can.

We believe it's time for everyone to stand together against racism, injustice, and inequalities.

There are no clear answers as to how to begin to heal. We certainly do not have the answers. As an attempt to help, we will be donating to a group we strongly believe in called Crooked Media. Their goal is to help shift the public narrative to create a transformative, long-term change and donate to many different organizations. When we donate to them, they will evenly distribute our donations to multiple impactful causes such as Campaign Zero, Color of Change Educational Fund, NAACP, Black Lives Matter Global Network, Know Your Rights Campaign, Black Voters Matter, African American Policy Forum, National Bail Fund Network, Advancement Project, National Urban League, MediaJustice, Ella Baker Center, Unicorn Riot, Higher Heights for America, and Fair Fight Action. We will be donating 10% of service proceeds made on Friday June 12. In addition, we would love to accept any donations you’d like to make. You can either bring cash by the Salon or Venmo Casey, Dru, Kathy or Sara.
