What a joy it was to have been able to pamper this lovely lady!

She had been envisioning her perfect haircut for quite some time and was thrilled to have her vision brought to life when she arrived at my chair.

Her dad took care of the details, and his delight was definitely noticeable when he saw her emerge transformed from my door.

This delightful experience was truly a treat, and I feel grateful that our schedules aligned so I could play a part in her happiness.

Natural looking hair color is all about the dimension!
Your natural hair has many different tones and shades in it. They may be subtle but they are there and the more you mimic that with your hair color the more natural it looks.
I love adding all the different tones and shades into colored hair, especially when it comes out like this!!!
This beauty has grey, and soft brown natural hair and by adding the lighter brown to her grey and reinforcing that by adding lowlights to a bit of the ends and highlights all over she has the most beautiful head of gorgeous hair!!!
You can’t tell what is my color and what is her natural!!

This sweet beauty has been growing out her gorgeous mane of thick red hair and I am so excited to see how far she has gotten.

Soft long layers help with the movement and a bit of thinning and texturing make it easier for her to handle and maintain.

I wanted to take a minute to thank all of you who have prayed for my cousins sweet little daughter, Natalie.

Your prayers were heard and He answered!!

Natalie is a fighter and she is winning!
She is getting to go home!

Her fight is not over but she is strong enough to continue her recuperation at home with her family.

Thank you to each and every one of you who added her to your prayers.

I ask that you keep her in your thoughts, she still has heart issues and will continue to fight.

Let’s talk about pictures for a moment.

They are both a huge help and the bane of my existence.

The last few weeks I have had quite a few people coming in for consultations and NOT bringing pictures.

Pictures help me understand the ideas YOU have for your service.

They are a visual representation of what your mind is thinking so that I am not necessarily having to assume what “not to blonde” means to you.

They also help me to get me technical with how you want your cut to look.

To be able to define how you want the back to fall in, where you want your bangs to sit, and discuss the differences between a wedge and a stacked haircut.

It is all a part of the path to success.

I have been called a magician but I certainly am not. I gather all the information I need to NOT have to guess at the correct answers.

Pictures are a necessity when going to a new stylist (or wanting to change the style you have). They tell me what you like AND what you DON’T like.

And, if they are of you they can even show me the way that stubborn cowlick in your bangs falls.
