A Personal Message from Nicole Wentz, Owner of Willows Den

Dear Friends, Guests, and Community Members,
I hope this message finds you well. Today, I'm reaching out to share some exciting news that's close to my heart

For years, Studio B Salon then and Willows Den has always been more than just a place for haircuts and color– it's been a sanctuary where we've shared laughter, tears, and countless stories. Many of you have become like family to me, and your trust has deeply touched my life.

It's because of these connections that I've decided to embark on a new journey and take a stronger stance and vital role in the prevention, protection, and awareness for Domestic Violence and Mental Health in our families and youth. Through years of my own personal struggles in silence and my professional support from behind the chair, MY DEEP PASSION FOUND MY TRUE PURPOSE.
I'm going back to school to study Human Services, specializing in crisis prevention for families and children of domestic violence and at-risk youth to prevent pain, protect victims, and heal survivors through therapy, counseling, and advocacy. This decision wasn't made lightly, but it's one that feels right in my soul.

Why, you might ask? Because I've seen too many signs of pain hidden behind forced smiles. I've heard too many whispered stories of struggle. Because I too suffered in silence and fear. I discovered strength in my survival, and I've felt, for too long, that I need to do more.

So, I'm taking action. I am transforming… "Willows Den" – a salon and safe space where we'll continue to make you look beautiful on the outside while also offering support for the battles you might be fighting on the inside.

Our new motto is "To Protect, Heal, and Grow." Here's what that means:

- Protect: We're creating a safe haven right here in our salon.
- Heal: We'll offer counseling and therapy services alongside our usual treatments.
- Grow: We'll provide resources and support to help you flourish.
As we begin this journey, I want to let you know that I'll be adjusting my schedule. I'll be offering salon services 2-3 days a week to balance my new studies and the development of our support services. I appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we make this transition.

I know this might seem like a big change, but at its heart, it's an extension of what we've always done – care for each other. Whether you're looking for a new hairstyle, a listening ear, or a path to healing, we're here for you.

As I progress through my studies, we'll be gradually introducing new services. I'll keep you updated every step of the way, and I welcome your thoughts, questions, and support.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Together, we can break the silence, end the violence, start the healing, spread love, and shade hate.
