By preordering our natural wood perches, you are helping us gain more revenue to put towards getting more breeding pairs, cages, and eventually an aviary! We currently only have 2 pairs, which means we will be having 4 clutches a year starting next summer. The more pairs we have, the more babies we can offer :). Brief mutation explanation on: Dusty (Normal Mauve)
He is considered a mauve, which is considered a shade of blue in the world of budgie colors, because he is thoroughly colored with the darkest shade of blue. Although he looks similar to Stormy, a grey, Dusty is mauve because his tail his blue (Stormy's is black) and his cheek patches are blue/violet (Stormy's are grey/blue). He is a Normal because his black barring extends completely from the back of his head, down throughout his wings. (Dawn is the lighter-colored adult sitting next to him in the pictures)

Brief mutation explanation on: Stormy (Grey Opaline)
His coloring is considered grey because he has an even tone of, well, grey throughout his body. The opaline mutation refers to how his black barring fades around his upper-back, whereas it would be clearly visible in a Normal coloring, like Dusty. (Rain is the one with the white on her wings, Stormy is the grey one)
