i’ve been trying to find the right words to say thank you, and honestly i don’t think they fully exist… but i’m going to try 🤍

this event meant so much more to me than just a day of blowouts and coming together. it was for my grandma, who passed away almost three years ago from stage four throat cancer. she was one of the most important people in my life, and not a day goes by that i don’t miss her. while i was standing there watching everything unfold, the laughter, the connection, the love in that room, i couldn’t stop thinking about how much she would have LOVED this. i truly felt her there with me in those moments and i know she would’ve showed up to support me 🤍

to every hairstylist who showed up and gave their time, knowing it was a long day and that you weren’t getting paid… i will never be able to thank you enough. you didn’t have to be there, but you chose to show up and pour into complete strangers and into this cause, and that is something i will carry with me forever.

to everyone who volunteered, donated, supported behind the scenes, shared the event, or simply showed up, you are the reason this was what it was. it felt like community in the purest form, and it was something really, really special.

this was my first year putting something like this together, and i was honestly so nervous… but you all showed me what’s possible when people come together with good intentions and open hearts.
