New Year, New You!! Start this New Year's Resolution off with the intent to get more flexible, because healthy muscles and joints don't hurt!
I start everyday off with this quick dynamic stretching routine that I created to wake up all my joints and get that synovial fluid moving and nourishing the cartilage that provides the protective cushioning for all our movements.
You're whole daily vibe changes when you warm your body up and hit reset on the crunchiness that sets in after we sleep. Healthy joints and muscles equal less pain and better movements for the activities we do daily. Do not go gently into that good night! Hope you guys will check this one out and subscribe because I have a whole 10 Minute Warrior Series on YouTube that allows you to make gains in as little as 10 minutes per day also!

Sadly, due to patellafemoral pain syndrome, I will be canceling bootcamp for this go round as even demonstrating is very painful for me. I over did my leg days coaching four hours per week and also testing workouts on those off days, which was a eager rookie mistake.
I will however continue to post videos on my YouTube channel as I film them, as there are many other options besides high impact activities that we can work on after injuries!
Low impact high and low intensity exercise, upper body, core, glute, hip and hamstring strengthening will be more in focus, as well as gaining needed mobility in stiff joints for proper body mechanics throughout our daily lives. And as always we'll be keeping it peachy! 🍑

So for those of you that have been wanting to try my bootcamps but aren't 100% committed yet, here is a sample workout that we have actually done at bootcamp. And don't worry, I provided many modifications!!
If you are new to working out, you will do this whole workout at your pace, resting whenever you need to in addition to the built in rest breaks AND without any added weight the first few times you come to class. Any other questions you have please don't hesitate to ask!

He's so great, very chill vibe, and this is a fantastic once a week active recovery day workout!! Flexibility has to be deliberately maintained as we get older or we risk injury and and chronic pain as poor patterns of movement become habitual due to tight joints or muscles. Enjoy!
