The last few months have been months of stretching! When you want to get to the next level you have to move differently. I have grooming myself for my next step and it’s been difficult, no doubt. I know in order to get to the next level I have to move differently physically and mentally. Discipline and consistency are my goals right now. I believe when you have those two + God, you can conquer anything.

A month that’s near and dear to me now as I am an over comer of PPD and Social Anxiety. I’m also slow but surely overcoming General Anxiety!

Mental health isn’t talked about much, especially in a black community. Black women are expected to be STRONG, and when we show emotion its rebutted as we’re “angry” and I’m sick of it. Our mental health issues are often suppressed. We can’t be hurt, or emotionally detached, but we’re quick to be called “angry” I’m here to let you know that it’s okay not to be okay! If you feel like your mental health is out of control, go see a doctor. It’s okay to take medications for whatever you’re battling if you feel you don’t have control over it. We have to end the stigma!
