Hello loves!!

After such a long hiatus I’m back. These 2.5 years I’ve taken my time to adjust and maneuver this new life without my oldest son. Some days are more challenging than others.

I must admit I had struggled with my passion for hair. Some days were darker than others. Many times I felt like giving up on hair all together. I’m in a much better mental space now ready to pick up where I left off.

Not only will I be showing you my work, I will be giving you glimpses of my personal world as well. It feels great when you get to know your hairstylist!

My love, my SONshine, my handsome boy ❤️🖤🕊. Today marks 5 months since we lost you. The pain is just as raw as the night I found out you passed away.

This month on the 19th you would’ve turned 20 years old. My love you didn’t even make it to your 20th birthday. We had trips every year to celebrate your day. Last year you were bummed we were stuck because of COVID, you had chosen Jamaica. Since that couldn’t happen we arranged for this year. You were so excited! As a tribute to you, we will still go as a family. I know you would’ve hated for me to stay home and cry. I love you and miss you with all my strength.

This month on the 19th we will have a celebration of life for his birthday at the cemetery. We will bring him balloons, we will play music from his Spotify account. We will wear his favorite colors black and red. Those individuals that will not be able to attend you can always just go outside, wear his favorite color and release a balloon in his memory for his birthday. If you’d like you can send me a picture. I’d really appreciate all the memories I can get. My son was loved and appreciated by many.
