My name is Alla Osipchuk. I completed my graduate education from Idaho State University in 2013. I am a Board-Certified Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. Licensed, and board-certified as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), specializing in adult health and medical aesthetics. I obtained my aesthetics certification from Medical Aesthetic Art Institute after completing their comprehensive course. I have also attended multiple advanced aesthetic injection technique courses.

It’s important to remember that dose = duration. Increasing the dose of tox can make the effects last longer. Remember the FDA-approved dose for the forehead is 20 units, glabella (between the brows) is 20 units, and crows feet is 12 units per side. Fewer units will also cause the tox treatment to wear off faster. Finding the balance between the level of correction and duration is the key to optimal tox treatment.

Patient Education:
You might feel a brief moment of discomfort, but BOTOX and Dysport injections are done with a very small needle. Some patients report feeling a stinging sensation, but the TOX material itself is not painful.
