For over 5 years, I’ve worked out of the same little salon room.
And in those 5 years… a lot of life happened.

There was laughter and grief.
Babies born and loved ones lost.
Engagements, marriages, graduations, birthdays.
Friendships that deepened, friendships that ended, friends who moved on.
So much love. So much growth.

For me, this room was more than four walls.
It was where I could escape the noise of the world.
Where I could breathe.
Where I processed trauma, shared stories, cried with clients, celebrated wins, and rebuilt myself piece by piece.

It supported me emotionally, physically, and financially.
It was my constant.
It was home.

Almost a year ago, I made the decision to relocate to San Diego, knowing I’d still be able to come back and do hair here. I told myself it wouldn’t change much. But today, sitting here, I realize something has shifted.

This space is no longer mine.

Another beautiful human will get to create magic here now—and I truly hope this room holds her the way it held me. Who knew that a little room in the back of a salon would become a second home to a single mom who just wanted to hold space for people to feel safe and seen?

I’m sitting here in tears, reflecting on the last 5 years. I can feel it in my bones and my soul. I’m not closing the book forever—but this chapter has come to an end.

I know to some this may sound silly. It’s “just a room.” I’m not leaving the salon entirely. But my move to San Diego is starting to feel real now… and letting go of this space feels like another big step forward.

It’s refreshing.
And it’s heartbreaking.

To my clients—thank you for trusting me, for letting me hold space for you, and for holding space for me right back. Our location in the salon may change, but the experience, the connection, and the love will not.

To my salon family—thank you for being such a huge part of why I loved this room so deeply. Thank you for the support, the encouragement, the laughter, the check-ins, and for walking alongside me through so many seasons over the last six years. I’m incredibly grateful and I look forward to continuing to work alongside you.

And to the woman who takes over this room—may it bring you as much peace, healing, and growth as it brought me 🤍

Just to be clear—I’m still coming back to do hair at the salon. The room is changing, not the relationships.

I’m looking into booking my January trip and needing help figuring out if I have enough clients to make it worth the trip. Who’s all needing in mid to end of January?

12/16/2025

I have a few spots left! I won't be back until mid January even then spots will be limited! I hope to see yall in a couple weeks.

I’m looking at coming back December 27–30

If you want in during that window, please comment below, and I’ll reach out next week to start building the schedule!

I also want to be transparent for a moment: on my last trip, I had 4 clients cancel last minute, which resulted in $1500 in lost income. That amount would have covered nearly all of my travel costs to come back and work in Idaho.

I plan, schedule, fly, specifically to be there, so when appointments cancel the day of, I’m losing hours I can’t refill and income I counted on. My clients have been so consistent, courteous and supportive thru this process so I’m hoping this trip has just been a fluke.

But moving forward, in order to keep returning consistently:

✨ 1/2 of the service cost will be required upfront upon booking

✨ A small $5 continuity fee will be added to each appointment — this helps support travel and operational costs so I can continue returning

✨ Please be on time

✨ No-shows or late cancellations (48 hours or less notice) will not be rebooked in future appts.

I LOVE coming back — it’s something I choose to do because I value you, and I appreciate everyone who supports me and respects the structure that makes these trips possible. 💜

So… who wants in for Dec 27–30? 😍

Reply “ME” below and I’ll reach out next week to start scheduling!
