Revit-A-Lift makes my face feel and look like a baby’s bottom by the next morning. 🤍
It has all the benefits of a prescription retinoid without the dryness and irritation! I’ve tried prescription retinoids and actually prefer this product because there’s no irritation. A retinal used consistently is often more effective than a prescription retinoid that gets abandoned because it’s too harsh on the skin.
And don’t forget, daily sunscreen is essential when using any retinoid, as these products can make your skin more sensitive to sun exposure.☀️

Not all skincare products are formulated the same way people!!
A product can contain a “good ingredient” and still not perform well if:
🚨 the concentration is too low
🚨 the formula isn’t stable
🚨 the ingredient can’t properly pe*****te the skin
🚨 or it simply isn’t right for your skin type.
That’s one of the reasons professional skincare tends to feel different. The goal isn’t just to put ingredients ON the skin. It’s to formulate them in a way that helps the skin actually use them effectively.
And you guys already know… simpler, well-formulated products outperform trendy skincare every. single. time.
Summer is pretty much freaking here… which means it’s officially the season of me reminding everyone to PLEASE wear your SPF 😅☀️
One of the biggest things I focus on this time of year is protecting the skin we’ve worked so hard to improve.
Because pigmentation, collagen loss, and texture issues don’t just happen overnight, a lot of it comes from everyday UV exposure over time.
My skin routine is always all about keeping my skin healthy, hydrated, and protected:
✨ ARC skincare
✨ Epicutis Lipid Serum
✨ and lots of Colorescience for SPF + coverage
I love products that make it easy to protect your skin without feeling heavy or makeup-y, especially in the summer when nobody wants a full face melting off by noon 🫠
Healthy, glowy skin is the goal… but protected skin is what keeps it that way 🤍
Collagen loss compounds over time! Did you know you lose 1% of your extracellular matrix per year (this is where collagen, elastin and HA lives in your skin, and gives your skin strength, voice and the ability to repair)?
The longer you wait to do treatments like microneedling that stimulate collagen production, the more you have to correct later. ❤️
And this is why doing random peels at home isn’t always a good idea…
I’ve been seeing a lot of people online doing their own chemical peels at home lately… And I’m going to be honest people, it makes me a little nervous.
Not because chemical peels are bad (they’re actually my favorite) but because they are very easy to misuse when you don’t fully understand what you’re working with and why you’re using a peel.
A chemical peel isn’t ‘just an acid’. There are different types of acids, different pH levels, and different pe*******on depths… and all of those factors determine how the peel interacts with your skin. When peels are done professionally, they’re chosen based on:
🫶🏻 Your skin type
🫶🏻 Your current skin condition,
🫶🏻 What you’re already using at home
🫶🏻 What your skin actually needs
That’s what makes them effective. When people are buying peels online (from who knows where) and applying them without that knowledge, a few things can happen.
🚫 The peel may not be right for your skin
🚫 It can trigger breakouts or irritation.
🚫 It can compromise the skin barrier
🚫 and in some cases it can lead to chemical burns or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Especially if you’re already using things like retinol or other exfoliating products… Layering that with a peel without proper guidance can be too much for the skin.
This doesn’t mean all at home exfoliation is bad. But there’s a big difference between controlled, professional exfoliation, and applying a peell without understanding WHAT it’s designed to do and WHY.
Chemical peels when done correctly are my favorite way to improve skin, but they’re meant to be intentional, customized, and done with a plan… not just whatever is trending online.
