As a former SASSOON Stylist, Cutting Instructor at the world renouned SASSOON Academy in Los Angeles, California and a SASSOON Academy Director in Miami, Florida Mike Varela decided he could no longer ingnore a driving pull towards a new vision. After 10 years of experience in the industry he decided it was time to break away from SASSOON and create his own unique brand and The Kingly Hair Group was born. The vision for The Kingly Academy is to continue to bring high end private, group & in-salon advanced education at the same standard, quality and philosophy that he learned and taught at SASSOON. will be dedicated to developing the finest cutting shears designed specifically for precision cutting. And finally, The Kingly Style House is a by appointment only studio salon for clients that doubles as a creative & production house for collection & media based education work.

This month we celebrate our one year anniversary rama kandra. the salon!!! Looking back we could not be prouder of everything that has happened in this past year. For me personally, making a complete reset in my life and business relocating from California & finally getting a chance to make a goal and discussion years in the making with my friend Nathan Nathan DeMarre come to fruition has been the biggest blessing. Working as hard as we have to make this vision a reality would not be the same without every single person that has come to be a part of what we are all building together.
