Waxing removes hair from roots! Which in turn damages the hair follicle making it come back in thinner, softer and finer over time.

That’s why proper technique when waxing is so important! You want to make sure your waxer is grabbing hair from the roots every time, and not breaking off the hair underneath the skin.

Breaking hair under the skin can cause the hairs to grow back faster as well as ingrowns 🙅‍♀️

I get asked this question all the time!

The answer is NO! 🙅‍♀️

Please do not trim before your appointment. We are more concerned if the hair is to short. Remember to grow it out for a MINIMUM of 3-4 weeks after your last shave or hair removal.

No matter how long you think your hair is grown out (most of the time it’s not as long as you feel it is )😉 put the scissors and clippers down!

As a professional I am trained to wax the hair even at a longer length! If it needs to be trimmed I will do so during your appointment 🥰

Most importantly never be embarrassed or ashamed of longer hair growth, there is no judgment! Come as you are 🫶🏻
