I may take a little extra time here (okay, maybe a bit too long 😅), but it’s all worth it for flawless retention. Here’s my prep trio that never fails me: 1. **Proper Cleanup:** I make sure to remove every single bit of dead cuticle from the nail bed. Trust me, this step is crucial—any leftover cuticle is an open invitation for lifting! 2. **Dehydrate:** Once the nail bed is clean, I thoroughly dehydrate the nails to remove oils. This is key for strong adhesion! 3. **Primer + Protein Bond:** My secret weapon: two coats of primer🔥. I always apply a layer of @miasecret XBond primer first, followed by two coats of this magical product @youngnailsinc YN Protine Bond for that extra bond strength. It’s a game-changer for keeping those acrylics locked in place. Remember to be generous with your application!! 👑 Nail prep is where it all starts. It might take some time, but the payoff?
