Week 1 of 6 at Tilt Studio is in the books. 🎯
Took some big wins, took some hard drains, played against some of the best players in Arizona, and kept learning anyway.
The shots are getting more consistent, the mindset is getting calmer, and the reps are paying off.
Also apparently Fitbit still thinks 3+ hours of competitive pinball is “golf.” 😂
Still counts.
Tilt Studio Thursday League Night — Season 3 2026 — Week 1 of 6 Recap One very tired but very happy pinball player trying to keep the “Still Counts” train rolling. 😄 Started the night strong and stayed competitive all evening, finishing tied for 5th place with 25 poi…

🐾☕ Happy National Cat Lady Day! ☕🐾
Coffee ✔
Cat hat ✔
Windy walk ✔
Still counts ✔
Celebrating the official holiday of people who understand that cats are not just pets… they are supervisors, therapists, comedians, and occasionally tiny furry life coaches.
Today’s agenda: 🐾 Walk to coffee (movement still counts!) 🐾 Wear cat gear with pride 🐾 Accept that everything I own now contains cat hair 🐾 Enjoy time with family 🐾 Appreciate the daily joy our whiskered companions bring
Being a Cat Lady just means your heart has extra room for comfort, humor, and unconditional love.
Bonus points if your cat approves of your outfit. 😹

I made it to Black Rock Coffee.
Cute space, great wall message, solid walk.
Their coffee may not be my forever coffee… but the habit is definitely staying.
Still counts. 📈

Week 5 of 6 for Epic Women’s Monday Night Pinball League 🎯
A mix of new and familiar games tonight, with things starting to connect — especially on Pokémon Premium where the colors and captive balls finally started making sense. Captured a Pokémon, reached multiball, and hit a skill shot.
Rush continues to feel great, Motordome surprised me with a 1st place finish, and Xenon is slowly becoming less intimidating every time I play it.
Finished the night with 24 points and a top-10 result in a strong field, with a steady climb across the rounds. Top 4 weeks count for finals qualification, so another week in the 90s would be a big help next week.
Huge shout out to Shaniya Lee for earning a perfect night — 35 points across 5 rounds is seriously impressive.
Also a reminder that fitness trackers don’t always understand pinball — 3 hours of league play logged as “golf,” but still resulted in over 11,000 steps for the day. Standing, walking between machines, balance control, core engagement, and the mental effort of competition all add up.
A friend smiled and said “still counts” twice in one conversation — once about exercise and once about pinball. That’s when I realized the idea had officially left my notebook and entered real life.
Progress doesn’t always look dramatic… sometimes it looks like one better decision… one better shot… one better round.
Still learning.
Still improving.
Still counts. 📈

Trainer Gabby takes her job very seriously. 🐱💪
Today’s strength snack:
3 rounds
15 goblet squats

12 incline push-ups (aka pinball push-ups)
8 minutes total.
Stacked on top of walking, stretching, and real-life movement = 112 active minutes today.

Walk 1 of 5 ✔️ — Steps for errands and sips ☕
Started the morning with 17 minutes of stretching so I don’t repeat the ankle mishap situation.
Strong ankles = consistent walks.
Obstacle course level today: middle school rush hour traffic 😆
Students on foot + bikes = agility training.
Also accidentally turned today into upper body day: purse + 2 full 52 oz Stanley cups = functional strength training 💪
Music assist provided by Gloria Estefan, Elvis, and Vanilla Ice 🎶
Totals so far:
• 8,716 steps
• 3.82 miles
• 112 active zone minutes
Stacking continues at home with:
goblet squats
bent-over rows
pinball push-ups
Yes… pinball push-ups are officially a thing.
Tonight I’ll be at Epic Women’s Pinball League at The Outpost Arcade 🎯
Hope to see you there!
Movement doesn’t have to happen all at once.
It can happen in layers throughout the day.
Still counts.

My Sundays are best with steps before sips ☕
Walking to Starbucks instead of driving removes the stress of traffic, parking, and drive-thru lines.
It gets my heart pumping and helps my body feel good for the rest of the day.

Happy National Pet Day to the little supervisors who keep life interesting 🐾
My cats remind me every day that progress doesn’t have to be perfect. Walks still count. Showing up still counts. Even the small moments of joy still count.
They supervise workouts, inspect laundry, monitor pinball practice, and occasionally create extra “incidental exercise opportunities” 😹
Rescue pets change lives — sometimes theirs, sometimes ours, usually both ❤️
Happy National Pet Day! Let's see those babies! 💕
