Soooo many people forget about the “social” part in social media and think that with great content alone they’ll go viral and gain thousands of followers within the first month.

I hate to break it to you but that’s just not true. 😲 You can have the most amazing content but if no one sees it - your chance of going viral is slim to none.

But let me clarify, you 💯 percent want to aim for producing viral content when you’re growing your account - but if you rely solely on this you may want to rethink your strategy.

Adding 15-30 min engagement daily, setting a goal to engage with let’s say 25-50 people per day will have a huge impact on your growth.

This is the best way to make sure you your ideal customers are seeing your posts as you can pick and choose who you engage with.

In order to stay on track we write our to-do lists every morning. If you don’t have time to do this, wake up 15 minutes earlier. I’m telling you it will change the way you get things done.

Until you start putting your goals down on paper and assigning each goal / to-do into a time slot you won’t maximize your efforts during this time as you will be thinking about what needs to get done or what you need to do next.

- staying on top of what’s going on in your industry is crucial to position yourself as an authority leader in your niche. Sign up to Google Alerts, and read news magazines like where you can get all news summarized in one platform and you can choose your own categories.

2. Understand Your Audience

- this is key. And might take some time to nail. If you don’t produce content your ideal customers want to see - your life on IG will be short lived. So how do you figure out what they want to see? Do your research. Monitor specific groups, make notes what they comment on, what top posts are in your niche hashtags etc.

3. Test & Analyze Data

- to understand what resonates to your specific niche you have to test posting different types of content and track what people tend to engage with more.

When you have the funds, you may invest in a content creator to do the job, until then, the more you post the better.
