Cuts/ Trims are so important! Every 6-8 weeks if you have color treated you should be getting AT LEAST a baby trim. I like to call it “dusting” to remove any split ends to get the hair, strong and healthy to continue the flow of hair growth. I love me a big chop! But for my long hair girls I totally get you! But don’t forget about your baby trims they are so important for hair growth 👩‍🦳

Perfecting your craft is so important…🧠As a growing stylist, I felt like my shadow roots weren’t blending well. I would always feel like there was something else I could’ve done to have the “perfect blend”. With a little knowledge from she shadowed me and helped me really understand what I could change and do better to get that seamless blend!

A little about me for y’all 💞

My name is Kassandra but honestly everyone calls me Nani, I got into cosmetology about 2 years ago when I decided to go to beauty school and from the moment I started I honestly loved it. For the most part because I am a chatter box😂 if you put me next to a tree I’d probably start up a conversation with it. I love getting to know my clients, if I’ve met you through a friend or through high school or just by seeing my work on Instagram and booking an appointment, who ever you are I appreciate you for taking the time to book with me and getting to know me ☺️

I honestly started to fall in deeper in love with coloring when I started working at The Color Collective, before I never felt 100% comfortable, we all have self doubt and I had a lot of it before starting, so once I started getting used to coloring I honestly fell in love and feel like I am a place in my career where I am comfortable with anything that is thrown at me! I honestly love dimensional, blonde balayages I feel like it’s something I learned a lot from my assisting days with so she made me fall in love with my work 🤍

I’m the youngest at the color collective but have learned and continue to learn so much everyday from my peers🫶🏻 99.9% of the time I’m probably making jokes trying to make the people around me laugh. I’m pretty loud and outspoken so don’t be shy when you get in my chair and if you are shy no worries I will talk your ear off 😛

She comes from black box dye, second session going lighter, when it comes to box dye/ color corrections sometimes it may take 2-3 sessions to get exactly the lightness you’re looking for but trust your hair guru🤍
