Here’s my recipe for hair that doesn’t hold a curl well 👇

✨ Wash your hair the day before you want to curl it.

Double shampoo your hair to get it as clean as possible. Only condition the very ends OR skip conditioner all together (trust me).

✨ Blow dry your hair with a volumizing mousse or a sea salt spray to give your hair grit.

✨ Spray your hair with a texturizer or a liquid hairspray before curling.

✨ Use a hot curling iron or wand for best results.

✨ Hold the curl in your hand for a few seconds before dropping it or pin each curl after you curl it to cool down.

✨ Comb through each individual curl with a wide tooth comb or fork comb.

✨ Finish with a strong hold hairspray.
