MISS ONNA CELEBRATED HER VALENTINE'S DAY WITH THE STUDENTS OF GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL, IKOT IBIOK, EKET L.G.A
..Wife of the Paramount Ruler Of Eket LGA; Obongawan Mandu Abia educates the students on menstrual hygiene.

On 14 February 2022, Miss Onna LGA; Queen Blessing Joshua executed a great pet project at Girls' High School, Ikot Ibiok Eket.

Where she and her team convened a special valentine's day program tagged: THE GIRL SAID: A VALENTINE'S SPECIAL, for the students of Girls High School, Eket.

The event had line up of educating content such as: Lectures on Valentine, menstrual hygiene, s*xual abstinence, drugs abuse, financial intelligence, interactive session and varieties.

The students were excited to have great resource persons talk to them on diverse issues affecting their lives and education.

Her Royal Majesty Obongawan Mandu Abia educated them on Menstrual Hygiene and how the child girl should live an healthy life to avoid infections and other life-threatening diseases.

Obongawan Comfort Enodien charged the students to work hard and be of good behavior, she thanked the teachers for always discharging their primary duties to the students effectively.

Edidiong Speaks spoke to them on the main essence of Valentine's day ..(valentine without regret)and the need of abstaining from Sexual in*******se, She advised them to focus on their studies and goals.

Comr. Uduak Peters (Eket Students Worldwide President) taught the students explicitly on the dangers of Drugs Abuse, he abolished them to avoid the abuse of drugs by all means in other to stay sane and focus in life.

Perry Edward Inspired the students of Girls High School with her captivating spoken word performance.

It was really a great and fulfilled day for the students of Girls High School Ikot Ibiok Eket.

The principal,on behalf of the school, thanked Miss Onna and her Team for coming to the school with a great and impacting program..

This project is aimed at educating, promoting decency and reducing atrocities carried out by our female siblings on Valentine's day..and also encouraging them on their personal development as a girl child.

Over the years it has been reported that young girls have been misinterpreting Valentine's, to some, it's a day to have s*x as a proof that we love the man we are in a relationship with..
To some, it's a death sentence for them..

This program is Packaged to offer awareness on the True Val/ True relationship..

We are very much assured that this project will yield positive impact to this gender...
Join us eradicate unwanted pregnancies, Abortions and death all in the name of Valentine..

MISS ONNA ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION.

From the office of Miss Onna; Blessing Joshua organized her maiden edition of essay writing tagged: UDOM EMMANUEL THE JOSEPH OF OUR TIME.

The initiative gave platforms for writers to improve in their writing and benefit from writing,
The essay writing competition had a total number of 25 essays summited from different students across Akwa Ibom State.

The prize presentation for the winners of the essay writing competition held yesterday 10th December, 2021 at Nature Udoh and gang, Ewet housing, Uyo.

Where 3 winners emerged from the 25 contestants:

First winner : BLESSING Nse Effiong - 70k,

Second : Patience Edet - 50k,

Third : Ekerette Ekpeowo Ekpeowo - 30k

Barr. Akpadiaha Ebitu who was ably represented by Barr. Idaraobong Dominic commended the organizers for putting up a great project as that,
He charged the writers and everyone there not to totally depend on the internet, they should always use their brains in order to stay creative.

He urged the writers to improve in their writing and leverage on technology,
"The future is technology" he concluded.

The winners of the essay writing competition were so delighted and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the organizers and the sponsor; Barr. Akpadiaha Ebitu.

Highlight of the event:

An award of excellence was presented to Barr. Akpadiaha Ebitu in recognition of his selfless contributions in nation building.
