In this first session we were able to neutralize the darkness in her lips to bring her up to a lighter base. In her next session we will work to bring her a littler lighter and pinker, but this is a process that is not meant to be rushed.

She’s in it for the long hall, and I’m happy to have her, it’s safe to say she made me tear up from her tears of happiness! Stay tuned to see these healed! 😍

Why are Lip Fillers awesome & kinda not awesome at the same time?
They’re awesome because yay full lips, but also they stream her out your lip skin so you end up losing some of that definition around your vermillion boarder!

Lip freckles! 🤓 let’s talk..

They’re natural, they’re cute, they’re not going anywhere 🤷🏻‍♀️

There are all different types of lip freckles, some will fade into the background of your lip blush and not show much after healing. But most are here to stay!

A freckle isn’t something we really look to “color correct” usually it’s a part of you and we want to keep you, YOU!

With a Sculpted lip blush enhancement you will usually get a same effect as adding a tinted gloss / chapstick - which won’t be a full matte effect.

As mentioned before there are some freckles that are pretty light to begin with and can lighten or fade during the process.

With a beauty mark such as the one above it is mostly here to stay. I will keep you guys updated on the healing of these 💋

Another NATURAL enhancement 💋
I know I’ve spoken about this in my Q&A highlight but if you missed it here is a little bit about COLOR:

I get so many questions about color, naturally this is typically ones biggest concern. Most of my clients do not want a bold lip stick look, and luckily for them, that is not something I specialize in.

My goal when doing a Lip Blush is always to keep the color super natural. I aim for an enhanced look vs a faux / matte look.

The top image is a picture I took as my clients “before picture” - this is her natural lips with nothing on them. She had a more vibrant tone on the bottom lip than on the top and wanted a more even base. I took the color from her bottom lip and matched it with some pigments, then I bumped that color up a notch (because it will heal 30% lighter) and that’s what we went with.

This client specifically is a makeup guru & wanted to be able to leave her lips bare or have an even base when applying lipstick.

We got her just there! She now has even color coverage on her lips for a beautiful subtle look that can go with everyday makeup & a natural color that she can easily apply anything over.

We were both so happy with how these turned out & I can’t wait to have her back to share with you her healed results!

Crying over each millimeter of a straight line for days is what has made me so disciplined (and a**l) when it comes to my sketches.
