Most people think of picking as in actually plucking out your lashes, which isn’t always the case. Picking is also but not limited to pushing up or down on grown out lash bases, twisting and turning lashes etc.⁣

A lot of times we involuntarily do these actions due to stress, anxiety etc and don’t even notice until it’s too late. ⁣
⁣
Unfortunately all of these actions cause stress to our lash follicles causing premature lash loss, breakage, and bad retention. ⁣
⁣
We made this video to bring awareness of what lash picking truly is and to help break the cycle so we can keep your lashes as healthy and gapless as possible.🫶🏼⁣

𝐀 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲;
She got a lash lift over 2 months prior and let me know they damaged her lashes BUTTTT I was not expecting this. In all my 8+ years of lashing I have never seen this. Not only were her lashes over processed they were curled straight onto her eyelid. Almost as though they didn’t use a rod when doing the lash lift.
Even though she has been using oil to hydrate her lashes and has given them a break/time to grow out, a lot of them are still like this.

Getting fills every 2-3 weeks allows your lash artist to safely remove these grown out lashes and replace them with new ones. Even if your lashes still appear full, a lot of them will be extremely grown out and have to be removed and replaced! ⁣⁣
