For the FW26 runway, R+Co BLEU Founder created a Bardot-inspired top knot with a soft low side part, an airy, undone shape that nods to ‘60s sophistication with a subtle New Romantic edge.
 
The look began with R+Co BLEU Essential Blow Dry Tonic for touchable texture, followed by Root Booster Volume Spray and Highest Volumizing Mousse at the crown to build soft, airy lift. To finish, Cult Classic Flexible Hairspray and Ultra Dry Texture Spray locked in volume while keeping the hair light, full and movable.

For the FW26 runway, R+Co BLEU Founder and legendary hairstylist channeled a “punk-turned-New Romantic” energy to create a Bardot-inspired top knot with a low side part, defined by airiness rather than structure.
 
The Technique: The look began with a foundation of Essential Blow Dry Tonic for touchable texture. Crown volume was sculpted with Root Booster Volume Spray and Highest Volumizing Mousse. Cult Classic Flexible Hairspray and Ultra Dry Texture Spray were used to lock in volume while ensuring the hair remained airy and full of movement.

At Anna Sui’s Fall/Winter 2026 show, Garren and his team created Bardot-inspired silhouettes with ethereal texture and effortless movement using R+Co BLEU.

“Anna’s inspiration was from the punk-turned New Romantic wave at the Blitz nightclub in London. We wanted to put our own spin on it with a ‘60s approach to the side part, a Bardot-inspired top knot and natural texture. The idea is you have a healthy scalp, root lift and soft flowing hair, and then it gets ethereal. I don’t like when things look so placed,” Garren says.

Hair was prepped with R+Co BLEU Scalp Therapy Densifying & Rebalancing Leave-In Mist at the roots and scalp, followed by Essential Blow Dry Tonic through lengths and ends to enhance touchable texture.

For lift at the crown, Root Booster Volume Spray or Highest Volumizing Mousse was applied, then hair was blow dried loosely and back combed before being set with Cult Classic Flexible Hairspray.

The top knot was created by backcombing a soft “nest,” then locking in volume with Cult Classic Flexible Hairspray.

The look was finished with Ultra Dry Texture Spray for fine hair or Lifestyler Volume & Texture Spray for thicker hair to add airiness and movement.
