Happy New Year to All ✨ It’s an especially important time to reset, ground yourself (maybe even hug a tree), and set intentions for the new year. A great place to ground yourself is a local botanical garden. 🌿

After a little R&R, we are back and setting intentions for Ayla Essentials. We want to roll out our website this winter, so our products are more accessible. *stay tuned*

Miami-Flora Essence is helping us get out of our stale routines from last year (too much negativity and sitting around), and hop into the year with some s***k. 🎉 Every flower has its own energy, which can be harnessed into a flower essence through a careful, ritualistic process and used to move the spirit in different ways. 🌸🍃This one was created with Miami-local flora. Pink Frangipani (Plumeria rubra) helps us find balance between light and dark, overactivity and stagnation, past and present. This balance of the mind and body allows you to function with optimism. 🌺Royal Poinciana (Delonix regia) stimulates your creative energy, while helping you maintain clarity. $15

All of our products begin with experimentation and questions. ❔Which herbs can we combine to synergize their effects? ❔Which plants do we see around us and how can we best utilize them to heal? The plants speak, we listen and learn. Then, we create.🌿

This is the road that led us to the Cayenne Pain Relief Oil. 🔥Although applying heat to reduce pain sounds counterintuitive, it does just that. Cayenne Peppers (Capsicum annuum) contain capsaicin, a chemical compound that increases surface blood flow when applied to the skin and blocks pain messages from the skin. The result is pain relief in muscles and joints. Comes in a roller bottle to keep your hands cayenne-free. ✌️

LAVENDER TO THE RESCUE ~ Sandra began using this oil at her dental office to calm panicked patients. It works like a charm every time. 🙏🦷✨

When you are having a moment of stress, melancholy, panic, or general difficulty (which happens a lot more these days), Lavender to the Rescue can save you. INGREDIENTS:
👃🧠Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is a versatile, gentle herb that can be used to promote relaxation. The aromatics alone help relieve stress, and applying an infused oil to the skin can do the same.
🌸Rescue Remedy flower essence is a blend of 5 flower extracts that work to restore peace and emotional balance.
💧Jojoba oil is nutritious, light and one of the best oils for the face. We infuse it with lavender herbs.

✨Gently rub a few drops on the temples, third eye (center of forehead) and anywhere else you feel is necessary. Accompany this practice with a short prayer or intention to help carry you out of a dark place.

I want to spotlight how we came up with our Self-Love Tincture✨... It began with this moment at the 2019 Florida Herbal Conference— My mom, Sandra, and I had just sampled a tincture with Damiana and Motherwort for the first time. As we walked back to our tents, I noticed that the trees were glowing brighter, my heart felt lighter, and I couldn’t help but smile. I had to stop in my path and ask my mom what she was feeling— same sensations! We both felt this very natural uplift in our mood and perception. We were so moved that we decided to bottle up this moment in the form of Self-Love Tincture.🌿

I always have Self-Love on me wherever I go. It has a noticeable calming, uplifting effect. I gift it to friends who may need it— friends who are more sensitive, experiencing difficulty and/or growth. ❤️Right now I truly believe everyone could use it.🌿

SELF LOVE TINCTURE- Motherwort, Damiana, Maca Root, Rose Petals, Hibiscus, vodka, vegetable glycerine. ✨Made with all organic herbs.✨

Everything is made in small batches, so supply is limited. DM or email is for inquiries ❤️

Meet Sophia, Horticulturists, Herbalist and Co-Founder of Ayla Essentials (and daughter of Co-Founder, Sandra). 🌿 Her interest in herbalism began with plants and the soil. She received a bachelors in Horticultural Sciences and, during college, attended the Florida Herbal Conference, which opened up her mind and led her down the herbal path. 🌿 Sophia is currently a Garden Designer living in Brooklyn. ~~

This photo was taken at our table at the lovely herb farm where we had the opportunity to sell sofrito and pickled peppers made with our homegrown veggies— food is medicine. 🙏🍽✨🌿
