Since Friday I’ve been dealing with my knee. What’s wrong with it? Not entirely sure. So I rested it this whole weekend. I could’ve easily allowed my mind to tell me to just sit down and rest it some more. But my body feels great. I have more energy and I was DETERMINED to move even if modified. ✔️ no worries I didn’t over do it. And went slow.

This post may seem unorthodox given that I am posting it in my business page but I think it’s important to share the realness behind a business. It’s not easy restarting or reigniting my passion for hair and makeup. You would think that after decades of weddings, quinces and other events it would be cake-but behind the scenes I struggle trying to define my brand, developing my business plan, and a whole plethora of bullet points and ideas. I’m excited for what the future holds. Although it is uncertain and I have lots of questions I’ve experienced enough where I know I will walk into those answers. So I share this to give some encouragement for anyone that comes across this post-regardless of the obstacles, the unknown, the doubt and fear of tomorrow whether inside your immediate circle or outside into this world-have faith!!! Believe in yourself and have confidence in your abilities but also believe that God is ultimately in control. We may make our plans but know that he directs our steps. In that alone I rest. It’s not always easy as someone who likes to be in control but it’s necessary and the stress free way.

Keep your eye on the prize! Allow God to direct your steps! But never ever give up on your dream.
