Posted • We at are dedicated to helping kids and teens have access to the tools they need to build futures they can look forward to. This is why we support the LGBTQIA+ community. As Pride month comes to a close, we are reminded now, more than ever, why supporting LGBTQIA+ kids and teens is important. "These young people are healthy, functioning, high-achieving kids, but because they've come out, they have been thrown away." LGBTQIA+ students are at higher risk of homelessness, food insecurity, depression, and isolation than their classmates; and these difficulties only become more complex with intersecting identities. Black and Indigenous trans youth are at the highest risk for these factors.
