Well, that’s a wrap!🎁
December is always so busy with the laundry list of elfing duties but I’m
happy I gave it my all and created magic and memories for the fam. There was NYC, a lot of hot chocolate and family movie nights, and hangouts with friends.

I have a good feeling about 2025 and most of all am grateful for all of the gifts and blessings in my life - my health, my family, peace in my heart, and energy to pursue my goals.

Hope this year brings much
abundance and prosperity to you and yours! 🌟🌟🌟

Last month was bookended by art events that filled me with joy💫I started the month attending the longest running costume ball in Miami with Beaux Arts, a 70-year-old non profit organization dedicated to bringing the arts to children in Miami Dade. The theme this year was Empire State of Mind and our group dressed up as Andy Warhol and his muses. It was so funny to see all the Warhols walking around in their white shaggy wigs and we even won second place this year!

We were also busy with soccer games, middle school entrance exam which is now officially done, and many busy days of commuting with Gus traveling for a large part of the month.

I capped the month off with a luncheon at the PAMM museum hosted by the International Women’s Committee where I met some really interesting women who love to support local artists and the arts.

And Halloween was a flashback to the 80s with Elena as Cheer Bear, Gus Run DMC and me as Strawberry Shortcake🍓

The first month of fifth grade is officially in the books. September was a month of transitions, with things getting a little messy and unclear at times - but there were a lot of great moments too!

Highlights include Elena’s bakesale fundraiser where she joined forces with her friends and raised over $300 which she donated to Susan G Komen. It was so fun to see the girls working as a team and seeing all of their strengths work so well together. There was the baker, the cheerleader/salesperson, the creative one and the leader of the band. Seeing their passion and dedication gives me comfort that our future looks bright. We are knee deep in middle school applications and preparing for entrance exams, but also grateful that a potential toe fracture ended up being just a big bruise.

I got a new haircut, purged, organized and started getting things in order for the next three months, one of the busiest seasons in Mom world with back-to-back holiday activities and plans. We have an upcoming home remodel and potential new professional projects on the horizon.

Thank you September! Now focused on the new month and all of its adventures. I welcome October with open arms 🎃

I am dusting off this account to use as my personal diary of sorts. The last time I posted here we were right smack in the middle of pandemic times. And wooo, we survived. It is already 2023 and the world looks so different. I have dedicated myself to learning all about the space and feel like the world is moving faster and faster. Now there are tools that help you write, design, and code. The is exciting and fascinating, but at times feels like way too much. I feel inspired to intentionally get offline, be with , and enjoy some simple pleasures like journaling with a cup of black tea (that I am doing every morning). I am happy to be back and hope that your journey back to this new world is filled with energy, inspiration and hope.

Ordered a cookie decorating kit from and had a blast decorating bats, cats, gingerbread, and pumpkins.

The kit is so smartly assembled with sugar cookies, neon frosting and creepy sprinkles, I had to get in on the fun. I think I may have to make this a new family tradition!

Do you remember your last girls’ trip? I do. It was exactly one year ago at one of my favorite times of the year: RF Convention. Last year, I traveled to Nashville, TN and hung out with some of my favorite and most inspiring women for four whole days. We toasted, we ate, we caught up on life, we disconnected from our lives back home, from mommy and wife and homemaker duties, from work and life responsibilities. For a few days we reconnected with ourselves, that carefree, adventurous, joyful fire that throws caution to the wind and reminds us to pursue our dreams wholeheartedly. This year, we can’t be together in person but looking back at the memories from the past few years reminds me how grateful I am to have found this opportunity and how pivotal it has been in my own personal and professional journey of growth.
