The view was more glamorous than the experience.

I was invited to St. Lucia by a client, and while the trip wasn’t exactly what I imagined, it reminded me of something important:

Not every opportunity arrives in perfect packaging.

Sometimes the situation drains you.Sometimes the people aren’t your people.Sometimes you’d rather be sharing the moment with someone else.

But if you stay open, there’s still something beautiful to take away from it.

For me, it was this view, this island, and the reminder that I get to experience places I once only dreamed about.

Grateful for the lesson. Grateful for the memories. And next time, hopefully, with my husband. ❤️🌴
