Armadillidium Frontetriangulum “Orange Corfu”. These took longer than I thought to get going but now they are busy. The wonderful orange coloration with the nice orange and white patterns on them make them very appealing to the eye. It is a not so commonly kept isopod and I’m not sure why.

ARMADILLO OFFICINALIS
- Spanish Pillbug is a medium-sized isopod species from the Mediterranean region. These isopods grow up to 2 cm in size. It takes approx. 9-12 months for the mancaes to become an adult. The common color of these species is matte blue/gray. This species is robust and easy to breed. A female can have several litters per year, each with up to 300 mancaes. Like all woodlice, Armadillo officinalis can curl up into a closed ball in case of danger.
