A man was sentenced to 7 years in prison for stealing millions of money in Kasama. Two years into his sentence, he received a letter from his father:

“My dear son, you’ve left me in old age and sickness. The planting season has arrived, and I have no one to help me plow the field and plant maize. I wish you were here to help me. God willing, we shall meet again.”

The son replied:

“Dear father, please don’t dig in the field for now. That’s where I buried all the money I stole. Wait until I’m released.”

As all prisoner letters are read by the prison guards, the next morning, over 100 prison officers showed up at the father’s farm and dug every inch of it — but they found nothing.

The son later wrote back:

“Dear Dad, I hope you enjoyed the help I sent you. You can now go ahead and plant your maize.”

A clever story that teaches:

MY WIFE DÍÈD BECAUSE OF MY PRIDE 💔💔💔

My wife and I had a little argument one Monday morning while we were getting ready for work. I was annoyed by the way she had buttered the bread. It wasn't pretty, spread poorly. I made a harsh remark to her, like a clap of thunder in the room. I didn't think it would end like this.
If I had known, I would have closed my eyes and eaten that bread without saying anything. Anyway, late it anyway...

She was hurt by the tone I used. She left the table without eating and went to work, without even saying goodbye. I was angry, she was too, and neither of us wanted to make the first move. That evening, we came home without speaking. We ate separately and went to bed without a word.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and then Thursday passed like this. Thursday night at dinner, she said "hi." I was too proud to respond, so I continued eating in silence and left. Yet, she smiled softly at me. She was a beautiful woman. Her smile could soften any heart. But to avoid giving in, I left the table. I told myself, "If this fight is going to end, she's the one who has to apologize. Not me. I'm not going to let her beauty make me say sorry." That's what I kept telling myself as I went to bed. She went to take a shower while singing our favorite song. If we weren't mad, I would have sung it with her. But my pride robbed me of that moment.

When she came out of the bathroom, I was already fast asleep.
Around 3:00 a.m., she gently patted me to wake me up. I pushed her hand away, thinking she just wanted privacy.
I didn't know it was the last time I would feel her hand on me... You
I fell back asleep.
I woke up at 7:15, late for work.
I hurried, had breakfast, and left without speaking to her.
She was still asleep. My pride prevented me from talking to her. I left as if nothing had happened .

That evening, I came home and everything was exactly as l had left it in the morning. The door wide open, the table untied... I shivered.
I rushed up the stairs, worried. When I entered the bedroom, she was still there... My phone fell from my hand. I ran to her, called out, trembling: "Baby..." Her body was cold.
I wet my pants with fear. I put my head against her chest: she wasn't breathing anymore.
I cried "Jesus!" with all my might, hugging her. But... she was already gone. There was no more life in her.
It all seemed unreal... until they buried her.
That's when I understood: my wife died in our bed, and I didn't realize it.
I couldn't cry or laugh. I was lost. My heart broke. I wanted to go crazy. If only I could turn back time...

My wife had asthma.
When she woke me up at 3 a.m., she would have an attack. She would ask me for help, probably to get her inhaler. But my pride held me back. I let her die before my eyes...
I lost the woman I loved Truly, stupidly. If we hadn't argued that morning-my wife had asthma.
When she woke me up at 3 a.m., she'd have an attack.

She'd ask me for help, probably to get her inhaler. But my pride held me back. I let her die before my eyes... l lost the woman I truly loved, stupidly. If we hadn't argued that morning, my beautiful wife would still be alive today.
It's been three weeks since she left. My world is broken.

My heart is empty 💔😔 If I could go back, I would right my wrongs.
Today, I ask Stella for forgiveness... I'm sorry. I'm sorry,😔🙏🏻

"Giving me $1,080,000 in child support in 18-years is înjustice. What if I spend all the money? I've used $100k already." __ Ayesha Howard, Anthony Edwards baby-mama crîes out 🥲‼️

"Anthony Edwards' child support was very small. I accepted that $5k because I knew that I can go back to c0urt in few years and demand a raise if his income increases and he'll start paying like $15k every month. But that wîcked guy went ahead and paid all the child support at once. Now he doesn't have anything that do with me again and I can't take him to c0urt even if he starts earning $1-billion every month.$1,080,000 to raise a child is too small. What happens if things get expensive. I blãme the jūdges for allowing such înjûstîce on a p00r woman like me." ~ Ayesha Howard

19-year old NBA star, Anthony Edwards' 37-year old baby-mama, Ayesha Howard is currently ãngry as Anthony Edwards makes a historic move by paying $1,080,000 in child support all at once, covering 18 years worth of child support payments.

"Canada wants you, Australia will work you, UK will bill you, New Zealand will chill you, and Portugal just wants you to speak Portuguese!"

Choosing where to japa is like picking a spouse—each country has its own wahala:

Canada: Will love you, pamper you, and give you PR faster than your uncle’s US visa denial.

Australia: Will give you money but make you sweat for it. If you’re ready to work like a Lagos danfo driver, this is your spot.

UK: Will take your money, stress you, and then ask, "Do you have sponsorship?" Like a t0xic ex that just won’t commit.

New Zealand: Will give you peace, good weather, and easy PR… but finding a job there might feel like searching for signal in the village.

Portugal: Super cheap, but if you no sabi Portuguese, you might just be doing charades at job interviews.

If you're considering studying and settling permanently in one of these countries from Nigeria, here’s a breakdown

1. Canada – Best Overall for PR and Family Migration

Cost: Moderate. You’ll feel the pain, but it won’t make you cry like UK school fees. Tuition is lower than in the UK and Australia but higher than Portugal and New Zealand. Expect to pay $15,000–$35,000 CAD per year for tuition.

Job Prospects: High. Canada has labor shortages in healthcare, IT, engineering, trades, and finance. Students can work 20 hours per week during studies and full-time in scheduled breaks.

Moving with Family: Easy! Bring your spouse, your kids, maybe even your goat (okay, not the goat). You can bring your spouse (who can get an open work permit) and children (who get free education).

Weather and Culture: Cold like your village chief’s heart when you ask for financial help. Cold winters but a diverse and welcoming society, especially in cities like Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary.

Permanent Residency (PR): Easiest among the options. After studying, you can apply for a Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP), which helps qualify for PR through Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP), or the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Best place to become a citizen faster than your uncle got his US visa denial. This is the best choice for settling permanently after studies, especially if bringing family.

2. Australia – High Job Prospects, PR Process Takes Longer

Cost: Expensive. Tuition is around $20,000–$45,000 AUD per year. If your village people are monitoring you, they’ll think you’re studying medicine even if it’s fashion design.

Job Prospects: Excellent. There is high demand in healthcare, IT, engineering, and skilled trades. Students can work 48 hours per fortnight while studying.

Moving with Family: Possible but expensive. Spouses can get work permits, and kids can access education, but living costs are high.

Weather and Culture: Warm like Abuja in March but with cute kangaroos instead of okadas. Warmer than Canada, with a relaxed lifestyle. Cities like Sydney and Melbourne have large Nigerian communities.

Permanent Residency (PR): Longer than Nigerian elections results announcement. PR is possible but takes longer than in Canada. You need to apply for a Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485), gain work experience, and then apply for PR through General Skilled Migration (GSM).

Good money, good life, but you need patience and sunscreen. PR takes longer than Canada.

3. New Zealand – Less Competitive PR, But Smaller Economy

Cost: Moderate. Not too bad, but don’t expect cheap garri. Tuition costs $20,000–$40,000 NZD per year.

Job Prospects: High demand for healthcare, IT, engineering, and trades, but the job market is smaller than Canada or Australia.

Moving with Family: Spouses can get work permits, and kids get free education.

Weather and Culture: Comfortable! Not too hot, not too cold – just like perfectly cooked jollof rice. Milder weather than Canada, friendly and safe.

Permanent Residency (PR): Smoother than a Yoruba demon sliding into DMs.
Easier than Australia but takes time. You can apply for a Post-Study Work Visa, then work towards PR under Skilled Migrant or Work to Residence pathways.

NZ has easy PR, but job hunting might feel like looking for signal in your village. Easier PR process than Australia, but job market is smaller.

4. UK – Expensive and Longer PR Process

Cost: High. Tuition fees are around £15,000–£35,000 per year, and the cost of living is higher

Job Prospects: High in healthcare, IT, and finance, but work sponsorship is difficult. Students can work 20 hours per week.

Moving with Family: Spouse can join and work if you're studying at a postgraduate level(MRes and PhD), but the UK is expensive.

Weather and Culture: Mild but rainy. Large Nigerian community.

Permanent Residency (PR): Hardest among the options. The Graduate Route gives 2 years (3 for PhDs) to work, but you must secure a Skilled Worker Visa, which requires employer sponsorship.

Good for high salaries and global career opportunities, but PR is difficult.

5. Portugal – Cheapest, But PR is Uncertain

Cost: Cheapest. Cheap! Your bank account will thank you. Tuition fees is around €3,000–€7,500 per year.

Job Prospects: If you speak Portuguese, life is sweet. If not, life is confusion. More opportunities if you are fluent in Portuguese. Best for IT, engineering, healthcare and hospitality.

Moving with Family: Spouses and children can join but need financial proof.

Weather and Culture: Warm, relaxed, and welcoming.

Permanent Residency (PR): Takes 5 years, but better than UK wahala. Can apply for PR after 5 years, but the job market is weak.

Portugal is great and cheapest but not so great for job hunting unless you learn Portuguese faster than Buhari reads a speech.

In summary

If PR and settling down is your top priority → Choose Canada

If job prospects and high salaries matter → Choose Australia or the UK

If you want an easier PR process but a smaller job market → Choose New Zealand

If you want the cheapest option and don’t mind job challenges → Choose Portugal.

So, Canada wins for settling down, but if you just want to flex, go to the UK.
Now, pack your bags, tell your village people you’re going, and may your visa officer have mercy on you!

Tag your Japa squad and share on your timeline, someone needs this before they enter one chance

The peregrine falcon, the fastest creature on Earth, swoops down on its prey at 400 km/h without being affected by the enormous air pressure. The secret? A small bone in its nose called the "tubercles", which slows the airflow and protects its respiratory system. This engineering marvel inspired aeronautical engineers, and the design of modern engines was inspired by it, which increased the speed of aircraft and increased their stability. Even the American B-2 bomber, worth a billion dollars, was inspired by the aerodynamics of the peregrine falcon during an attack. And in that is a sign for those who ponder, Glory be to Him who perfected everything, and placed in a small creature a secret that led humanity to tremendous development.

When baboons and monkeys heard that the farmer who used to chase them from the maize field had died, they celebrated with joy.

But the next year, there was no maize at all. That’s when they painfully realized the farmer they thought was their enemy was actually the farmer who grew their food.

People may not understand the value of your actions today, but they will recognize your importance when you are no longer around!

Keep making a difference in whatever you do in the farming industry!!!

My husband met me when I was going through a t0ugh time. My boyfriend had just left me while I was pregnant. My husband accepted me and my daughter then, and told everyone that he was the father.

After I gave birth, he married me well. We had two more children together and he even started a business for me. But lately, he hasn't been working for a year now, and I'm the one who has to take care of everything with my business. I'm getting really tired of carrying this load.

Now, my first child's father has come back to the c0untry. He has m0ney now, and I decided to introduce him to his child. At f!rst, he denied be!ng the father, but after a paternity test, he accepted the child and was very happy and proud. Since then, he has been helping me a lot financially. I also realized I still have feelings for him, which surprised me because I didn't expect it. It happened when I visited his house to show him his child the very first time.

Now, my ex is asking me to leave my husband so he can marry me like a real woman and take me away. I'm very confused. I ne£d adv!ce about what to do, especially for my two children with my husband, in case I decide to leave with my ex. Life here has been hard, and feeding my children is a strug^gle.

Ple@se he|p me figure 0ut what t0 d0."
