The Florida department of education has so many restrictions on what can or can’t be taught in Cosmetology schools.
Dec. 18th I will be speaking to State Legislators and Representatives about implementing changes in our educational programs for nails and facials to include workforce training in mobility, manufacturing and salon operational support .

I will also be speaking on requiring certifications for wig installations and licenses for braiders.

Beauty runs deep is also partnered with NHBC and with the help of Diane Bailey and her Coalition we are gearing up to change the game of beauty .

Imagine a world where we the people , the minorities can get involved in the future innovations we see taking place today. A place where mobile salons and manufacturing of wigs can now exist and produce positive revenue to the communities where we live and serve .

The beauty industry is trillion dollar industry and it will hurt many of you if there’s tariffs placed on China if you import wigs or beauty products.

Let’s be the curve , and unionize to bring beauty home in a way where mobility and manufacturing can help create a more resilient supply chain for our local beauty suppliers and salon owners.Bringing easier access to those who don’t have the same access as others to travel to and from the salons.

Creating over 70 w2 positions for mobile salon positions starting at $17hr with benefits.

Also I’m advocating for the manufacturing of wigs and press on nails 💅 to be job opportunities create for individuals with neurodivergent conditions because why would you have robots 🤖 working when those who have children with neurodivergent conditions know they are the best at repetition and can do the task with perfect 🤩.

Do y’all know that 1 out of every 36 kids will be born with neurodivergent diseases??

So instead of acting like they don’t exist let’s give them an opportunity to be involved.
