Natural Hair is all about Growth: Physical, Spiritual and Emotional.

To me, Lock care is like growing a potted plant; It must be properly nourished in order to grow to it's full potential and beauty. I believe that information should be free, so as I care for my clients' hair I teach them how to care for it when I'm not around.

PSA: You dont cure athlete’s foot with lotion. You dont cure a yeast infection with damp panties. Dont treat dandruff with moisturizers. It’s a fungal infection, family. Use Nizoral.

Looking for a safer color option? Yarn Braid extensions are a great way to add a temporary pop of color to any style. Risks are minimal and manageable: Check for and brush away lint immediately after removal. Prolonged wear may be damaging to the locs, so remove after 1 month. 🦖

Check this out. Gels, butters and waxes dont wash out as easily as you think. One application of product may take several washes to cleanse from locked hair. I only use gel for startups for this reason, so it will wash out over the next few months of retwists with no product. If it’s this resistant to a power wash after sitting only abt a day and a half (it was still damp in the bowl), how do you think it fares after sitting for a month caked in your hair, then you come thru with one or two quick lathers and a soothing casual rinse from your showerhead? How bout if you feed it some nice conditioner (which is also designed to NOT rinse out all the way), then slap a new layer of gel on it? 🤔
