WHY CONSULTATIONS ARE A MUST

Many guests travel from out of town to see a particular stylist they follow on Instagram for their extensions. Because a prior consultation is required, I’ve been asked if I can do a virtual consultation to eliminate multiple trips to the salon. Here is why I don’t like to do virtual consultations:

* I cannot guarantee an accurate color match via FaceTime/selfies
* I can’t hold the various length options to your head so you can see where they sit and decide which best suits you
* Most importantly, I cannot determine the density of your hair virtually

Matching a clients density is more crucial than a color match. Extensions can be custom colored the day of an install if there’s a variation in tone or even after they’re installed for an all over gloss. No problem!

Typically a single pack of Volume Wefts will equal out to 3 wefts/rows, right?

95% of my clients only require one pack Volume Wefts, YES

This guest has 1 pack of hair in, 3 rows.. so now what?! 👀

Could you imagine if we hadn’t done a thorough in person consultation to determine how much hair would be required to match her density and this was the final product? 🫣

This guest had over 300g installed between two methods to achieve her final look, stay tuned for the official before and afters 🤍

** Virtual consults aren’t entirely out of the question as I do keep hair on hand to allow for instances like these, but in person consultations are always preferred**

This was my second submission to the Bellami Awards because if I had a dollar for everyone who said “I want hair like Alexas” 🤣 Between Covid and pregnancy/post partum her hair took a beating.. and unfortunately excessive shedding and hair loss can be some of the unpleasant side effects of both Covid and pregnancy. She washes her hair quite often so we decided wefts weren’t the right choice for her and we chose a head of K tips. She wanted length and density without feeling like she had a whole head of extensions. K tips are lightweight and extremely versatile when it comes to the styles you can do while keeping them hidden in your hair. Can you believe we achieved this look with only 3 bags?! Also, this color is high maintenance and requires consistent appointments and using salon products at home to maintain the tone and overall integrity of your hair. **Note: This guest prefers to be ‘overtoned’ and likes the enchanting blue/violet hue it leaves on her hair**

I’ve had this in my drafts ready to post for months but I was waiting to submit it to the Bellami Awards. This guest drove 4 hours to see me and this transformation was done without any coloring to her natural hair. She had unprofessionally installed Amazon extensions in her hair that had fully matted that needed to be removed before we began. We used 3 different colors in 22” Volume wefts to achieve the dimension and density of this look. The colors used were #2/6 Balayage, /18/46 Rooted and /2/6 Rooted.. we also added ktips in the front for lighter dimension around her face… I’ll definitely be posting more photos of this transformation from the front too because… WOW 🤩
