We usually start with a big chop to refresh her grown-out locks and keep things low-maintenance and easy to style. Then we add strategic highlights and a root smudge to create soft dimension that grows out beautifully.

After rocking vibrant red copper for several years, she let her natural brown shine through for a bit — but was ready for a little something new.

We decided to add soft ribbons of blonde to give her dimension and brightness while still keeping everything natural and low-maintenance. These pops of blonde give her the flexibility to come in just a few times a year, and still enjoy a beautiful, effortless grow-out.

Blonde doesn’t always have to be high-maintenance — sometimes a few well-placed highlights can make all the difference. 🤍

My beautiful client came in with such gorgeous grown-out color—we wanted to refresh it while keeping that natural dimension. We added a rich copper red at the roots and a few foils for a “highlighted” effect. Fun fact: those lighter pieces? Just beautifully faded color that still pops! 🔥

We also chopped several inches to give her a fresh boost into a chic French bob ✂️ This cut works perfectly styled straight or with beachy waves—versatile and effortlessly cool.

Fresh or faded, this look is a total vibe. 🍂❤️
