With 25 years behind the chair, Tanya still believes in the magic of a great hair appointment. She specializes in curly hair (2A–3C), gray blending, grow-out support, and low-maintenance cuts that embrace natural texture—including effortless shags. She also loves helping guests with thinning or aging hair find soft, wearable shapes that support healthy growth and confidence.

Known for thoughtful color and gentle transformations, her goal is always to create hair that feels authentically you. She’s passionate about building long-term relationships with her guests and creating an inclusive, affirming space where everyone feels seen, respected, and celebrated.

When she’s not at the salon, you’ll find her traveling with her wife, crocheting, hiking, or wandering art fairs around Minneapolis. 💛

Nikol has been in the industry since 2001, after graduating from the Aveda Institute and completing advanced training at Spalon Montage. She spent much of her career in Northeast Minneapolis, where she first rented a chair and later owned her own salon.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Her approach is all about custom color and cuts, starting every appointment with a thoughtful conversation about inspiration, realistic goals, and creating hair that reflects your personal style.

Since 2019, she’s focused primarily on using lower-toxin products—something that’s become meaningful for both her and many of her clients.

Outside the salon, she enjoys time with family, volunteering, walking her dogs, trying local restaurants, and exploring new hobbies.

Our communities are hurting right now due to the chaos that is ICE. One of the ways that we have decided to give back during this time is by partnering with STEP, St. Louis Park’s Emergency Program as a drop-off site for donations.

We directly provide food and clothing to residents in need, as well as advocacy, referrals, and build a collaborative relationship. Since 1975, STEP volunteers and professional staff have been empowering lives and restoring hope. Our vision is to be the trusted resource for connecting community members with resources to fulfill their basic needs.”

In just 3 days, you helped us donate 180lbs of of food, toiletries & household items!

Cereal, canned meats, pasta & pasta sauces, oatmeal, rice, dried beans, peanut butter & jelly, and spices are always a great idea too.
