We lost my dad early this morning on his 71st birthday. Thank you for everybody who has been so supportive this last month since we found out he was sick again.

Currently, I am planning to finish out this week of appointments before the holiday but will not be managing my books or checking messages until I’m back after the new year. If you are looking to get an appointment secured, please reach out to the salon directly and they can help find a time.

We are only 9 weeks away from my delivery date. I still plan to work all the way until the end, but if you haven’t scheduled your appointment yet, I highly suggest you do that now. A lot of my times are already filling in and I want to make sure to accommodate as many of you as possible before I leave!

I figured it was about time to share the news on here for any clients I haven’t been able to tell in person yet!

We are expecting baby number four at the end of May! I will be working up until my due date which means we have just under 14 weeks left before my maternity leave. Don’t worry though! I will be back to my normal schedule after 12 weeks and look forward to getting to see all of your amazing faces over the next few months! ♥️

Thank you to those of you who have shown so much love the last several days. Last week, we lost my mother-in-law. I will be taking the next several days off to grieve her loss and celebrate her life with family. If you have any immediate needs, please reach out to the salon so they can help you. ♥️

This weekend our Figo family experienced the tragic loss of one of our own. Riley was such a bright light in our salon and such a blessing to know. She was an inspiration to be around and we will be forever grateful to have shared this space with her. Riley, I’m so thankful to have known you. You are deeply missed. 🤍

Friends and family that have been a guest in my chair: I have a favor to ask of you. For the last two years I’ve been starting over and rebuilding my clientele in Michigan, and while it takes time to do so, your support makes all the difference in that process. My biggest goal is to create an experience where people feel they can relax, be heard and seen, and leave with a look that represents them fully. Thank you to everyone that has played an intricate role in my career these last 14 years, and thank you for the continued support—even if you aren’t able to be a current guest of mine. It truly means the world.

I’m pretty sure my favorite way to wake up in the morning is to a text from a client telling me that even months later they still love their haircut. 🥰
