Happy Sunday, client besties! ☀️💜

Nobody asked, but I’m going to tell you anyway.

If you’ve ever worked with me, you know I run a pretty quiet ship. We’re not doing a lot of talking during your session because this is your time to just be. I want you to fully reLX, and that’s hard to do if we’re discussing what happened at work this week😅

But here’s a little behind-the-scenes secret…especially during 90-minute sessions, I give myself little fun scenarios to make sure I stay fully present. You know how sometimes you get somewhere and don’t remember the drive because you were on autopilot? I never want y’all to get autopilot Lex😂

So while you’re reLXing, my brain is occasionally doing something random.

For example, when I’m giving a foot massage, I sometimes pretend I’m Jesus washing feet🥴🤣. Don’t judge me. I’m just trying to stay focused and provide five-star service.

Y’all… apparently Uncle Sam would like a very generous donation from me this year. 😅

You know how when you work for someone else they take taxes out of your paycheck? Well, when you’re self-employed, nobody does that for you. So my business strategy has basically been:

“Look at what I made this month, pay the bills, and keep it moving.” 😂

Turns out the IRS prefers a slightly more organized approach and even fined me for not paying quarterly taxes. Every day I’m learning something new about being a business owner. 🤦🏽‍♀️

It was either get another job or raise my prices….so starting immediately prices will go up to the following:

• 30 Minutes - $65
• 60 Minutes - $105
• 90 Minutes - $135
• Add-ons +$5

I joke, I joke… I got another job.

Don’t worry, I have no plans to increase my prices until I make significant improvements that genuinely enhance your experience.

Starting June 10th, I’ll be working a new position on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. What does that mean for you?

✨ I’ll still be available for massage appointments Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
✨ My off day is gone, so I won’t be quite as flexible with last-minute squeeze-ins.
✨ Scheduling ahead is going to be your best friend.

To help with that, I’ve added an ONLINE WAITLIST! 🎉

If your preferred appointment time isn’t available, simply add yourself to the waitlist through online booking. If someone cancels or reschedules, you’ll automatically receive a text letting you know that spot opened up.

And before anyone starts fussing at me, don’t worry, I’m not overworking myself. 😊 I’m just as serious about boundaries and self-care for myself as I am for all of you. Plus, when you genuinely love what you do, does it really feel like work? 🥰

As always, I appreciate every appointment booked, every referral sent, every social media share, and every kind word. Your support allows me to continue growing and pursuing some pretty exciting opportunities.

This week, I had the opportunity to attend some incredible training, and I’m leaving with a full notebook, a full heart, and a renewed appreciation for the power of mentorship.

One thing I’ve learned throughout my career is that not all knowledge comes from books, classes, or certifications. Some of the most valuable lessons come from the people who have spent years doing the work, making mistakes, solving problems, and sharing their wisdom with the next generation.

There is something special about learning from those who have walked the path before you. Their experience fills in the gaps that textbooks simply can’t.

Here’s to staying curious, staying humble, and never being too experienced to learn something new. 💜✨
