Gonna make this statement and I have zero apologies to give for it.

If you know me, you know I am always carful not to alienate anyone for who they are or what they believe…. Even when it’s blatantly clear that we don’t agree.

However, over the last about 14 years, I’ve watched and listened to just about everyone I know say and do some down right TERRIBLE, mean spirited, self serving, one-sided, short sighted, heartless, careless, and down right evil s**t on occasion. Much of the time, while I was going through really, REALLY hard personal struggles. All the while keeping my composure for the sake of others. Because I really want to believe that the people I love are GOOD. And KIND. And LOVING.

I’ve really tried to be a good example. For my kids. For my family. I wanted to show that what NonBelievers thought about Believers wasn’t the reality by giving Grace to them when their emotions were high. I was quiet when my heart told me to speak. Too many times. And I’m sorry for that… because I feel like I have allowed myself to be held hostage and it’s ultimately contributed to my mental a physical health.

If you think for a damn second at this point that what I need is a good dose of virtue signaling, unfriend me right now. I’ve already seen what you have to say. We all have. I’m making this statement because I want whoever is reading this to see with their own eyes and hear MY voice: I am not concerned with what this culture, this platform, a political party, or ANYONE thinks of me for my positions on anything that they find offensive for ANY reason.

I care only what God thinks. I love those who oppose my views because of HIM and Him only. He gives me a heart of compassion and ears that can hear pain when the words being spoken sound like rage. He knows it’s not in my nature…. He knows I’ve refrained from slapping the s**t out of someone on many a fine day for a wake up call… because he’s been giving me the side eye and softening my spirit. I’m putting this out here because I want y’all to know not to expect silence from me if you choose to speak about my character, of the character of Jesus Christ or his Believers in my presence. I cannot prevent or expect anyone not to read this and talk slanderous BS behind my back because they may feel called out. I know that there are some that will read this and cringe, not just because I’m saying it publicly, but because they already knew where I stand and they’ve taken full advantage of my restraint. NO MORE.

Nothing says better than a little SPICE! Mega refresh on my edgy . We hadn’t refreshed since March! As always, my go to line for the best and is . Started an all over using 50g 4EP + 50g 6RB + 30g Regal Purple with 10Vol.Drug some large panels through the ends, and on the remaining bits, applied a gel blend using 1/2oz 4RB + 1/2oz 8B mixed with DevPlus. Timed and covered for 30 minutes once all was applied. Since we are still battling old bleach, I glossed her at the bowl using in 1/2 WINE + 1/2 PLUM for 15 minutes, for a boost of extra shine and seal. Of course, to lock it in! Hey, . Major upgrades for this golden girl. Went in for a full brightening with alternating and using high lift color in AND 30vol for 40 minutes. The result: a Bold but “natural” sunkissed glow that screams beach babe! I frequently choose high lift tint over bleach when I’m working with a client who is prone to damage. Before our services, I sent her home with stylist tool treatments to do 2 days prior to her service. First was the treatment to remove excessive chlorine buildup after her summer of teaching swim lessons, and the second treatment to fill weak spots and prime her delicate curls for even lifting.

Fall is calling! Took this beautiful mane from to . Step one: for the root melt using- 1oz 9N, 1oz 8N, 1oz 8T, 1oz 8S with DeveloperPLUS for 25 minutes. Step two: full highlight with bleach and 10-20Vol, with staggered panels of keratint 1/2,8S & 8T mixed with Cream CPL. Toned using in: 2oz 10NC, 1oz 9OR, 1oz 10NB for 15 minutes, followed by 10 minutes gloss using in Honey Coral. This gorgeous lady is definitely ready for pumpkin spice season. 🍂🍁☕️ 😍

The greatest achievement for a stylist is to have beloved clients who have moved to far away places return to you after months, years, DECADES away! It has been over 15 years since I have been able to get my hands on this beautiful head of hair. When she had the opportunity to return to the west coast, she made it a priority to try and get a session in my chair. It was time for a little break from the unicorn colors for my rainbow muse . Pre-treated with to fill bleach porosity. Then, decided to go with my favorite color line for REDS, shine and longevity! 1/3 each of: 6CH, 6EP, 6RB and 20 vol on roots and panels pulled through. In between, I color melted 1/3 7NE + 2/3 6EP mixed with Keratint Developer Plus ( to help keep the color moist and fully saturated throughout processing on highly porous hair ). Mixed a few drops of AllNutrient OIL into the formulations, then finished her off with a clear gloss and final K-18 treatment. She’s not a peacock this time… but she’s still glowing!! 😎❤️
