I was wondering how accurate this clock can be. I have got to around 10 mins a week.

I’m scared my kid and or someone else will knock into it or break it somehow so I would like to find a new owner for it!!! Hi I wonder if anyone knows why my grandfather clock which is set to silent still strike once on the half hour
It’s a very old Willian jourdain that was willed to me and I don’t remember it ever doing it in its previous home, when it arrived I did a bit of careful work on some of the lifting veneer and put it together, it was only actually 3 minutes out when I put the weights in and it started working straight away so the minute hand was only moved a small amount, on chime it strikes the hours in the appropriate number of strikes, half hour single strikes and as I said in silent it still strikes the single chime on the half hour… any info would be appreciated
