To love your skin and wear it bare takes courage, especially in today’s society. Most of us have lived a life of self doubt and unfortunately we were never given the opportunity to love what we have already been blessed with. We are constantly shown unrealistic expectations and never given the facts; yet we trust that we see(this ads, celebrities, social media) is real and in 2025 what is even real anymore?!

Your skin barrier is 😁 healthy or not. Start with a healthy barrier. Good skincare you enjoy and skincare that gives you results. This is the basics of loving your bare skin.

Of course facials will help get you to where you want to go but long lasting results starts with your commitment to yourself.

Unfortunately I am here to admit that I am not a strong supporter of retinol 🫣

I have a wide range of clients which vary with many different skin concerns. NOT one time have I recommended a retinol product.

I enjoy keeping open conversations with my clients and we always keep it real in the studio. If you see me regularly, you should very well know, if your skin is happy and healthy, then so am I; no need to make changes just yet.

Continuing with transparency, I myself do in fact use a retinol and I have been happy with my results thus far BUT only time will tell if I continue with it in my current skincare routine…

I saw all this to say, just because it’s “trending,” doesn’t mean it’s trending for you. Know what works for your skin and find a trusted esthetician to help guide you on your journey.



With that being said, any of my clients who have ventured into the world of retinols, NOT A SINGLE ONE is happy with their skin while using it.

That’s not entirely true, I can speak for two clients of mine who genuinely love the retinol of their choice.

Always keeping it honest; in + out of the studio.

I am not perfect + I need to be better.

Here to admit that:
*I don’t always double cleanse
*I don’t always cleans in the AM

“Shame! Shame! Shame!” But there’s no shame in the truth and committing to being better.

Me of all people should know better and obviously I do BUT life is busy and I’m tired: my excuses could go on and on. Starting today I will be better and I myself, am excited to see what changes my skin can make with just some minor tweaks 🤩

She alone, has put in 9 months of hard work at home. We started with the basics and slowly introduced specific correctives and building and strengthening products for her concerns and goals.

She stays faithful to her monthly treatments and those treatments vary; which is common and totally okay with me!

As tired as we are of hearing it, if we want results we have to commit. But do not fret, committing doesn’t have to be scary.

Basics are essential; a good cleanser, moisturizer and daily SPF are a great start to a solid routine. Once you’ve committed you can take your routine up a notch.

Schools back in session and football practice is in full swing, I’m switching some times around in hopes to offer a wider variety of service times. As our little league season kicks off, Sundays will be available for booking 😊

For this month I was inspired by back to school learning and history.

I created a fun facial based on the origins of skincare and a historical figure. The Egyptians and Cleopatra and the notorious milk baths.
