Did you know pregnancy and hormones can alter your hair color?

Pregnancy hormone dark hair banding is a common phenomenon where significant hormonal shifts (estrogen, progesterone) during pregnancy increase melanin, making hair darker and sometimes altering texture, creating a distinct stripe or band as new, darker hair grows in, often becoming noticeable postpartum when normal hair starts growing back, and it usually resolves as hormones balance, my job as a stylist is to get it blended!
